Are there blinds for car windows? Curtains?

I have a hatchback type Toyota Matrix) with a long enough rear compartment (when seats are folder down) to sleep in, in a pinch. This would occasionally be handy. I'm keen to know if there are blinds or curtains made which would work in a car.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Sure. There were pull down curtains mounted by suction cups, and over the window "hook style" if I remember correctly.

There were tons of those being sold not that long ago.

Plywood. 4x8 cut into 2 pieces 3 feet by 4 feet.

Just lean them against the windows, in the rear area.

Makes it harder to see what's inside.

Once I lived homeless in SF for 5 weeks, with a mattress in the camper shell. It was like a vacation !

You could try tortion bar type curtain rods if you have some solid flat surfaces and then grab some blackout curtains.

In the early 70's I had an old station wagon...
I commissioned my little sister to sew custom curtains to fit it..
They went all around, including ones that drew open and closed on the tailgate window and behind the driver's head...

I had a nice mattress with sheets, blanket and pillows and a stereo in the back, plus drink holders and a stash compartment, complete with rolling tray..

It was my shaggin'-wagon and my girlfriends loved it...

I guess my point here is, ask someone you know who sews to make you some nice curtains that fit right..

They are sold as sun shades. Suction cups as mentioned. But alternately, you could open the door, pull a large bin bag over it, and shut it again. Or trap something as you wind the window up. Or there are suction cups aimed at holding thermometers to fish tanks. They have a round hole for the thermistor, that could hold a bit of doweling rod. I bet the sun shade things are the same sort of idea.

Since no one else mentioned it, there are states where cops will ticket you if you have anything blocking your view out a window. Just be sure to remove any blinds before you drive.
