My advice after 4 orders in last 3 months, and all 4 arriving with stem canker from fusarium, 2 orders on verge of death and seller obviously knew they were sick, from strainly and seed canary, and most recently 2 orders from companies that appear to be bulk California sellers whose plants seemed OK on arrival but had signs on stem of stem canker and quickly went down hill, who are trying to work with me instead of BS excuses of it happening in overnight shipping, when it takes weeks to take over plants, do not buy from anyone that does not back their merchandise. Many only guarantee they are alive on arrival. Some may be ignorant and think that everyone they sell to and plants die is incompetent or lying. Best current guarantee, but 2 or 3 times as expensive as average price, is Pig Tail Gardens. If they die within a month will replace with next order.

Their plants could be infected at 2 points. The mothers, which they have no excuse not testing, or during cloning from dirty tools, hydroponic/aeroponic systems, sharing nutrients, etc.. With the latter one infected plant will infect all clones.

Found a product for mothers and clones which should help a lot, if used from the beginning and after making sure everything is sterile before starting. Lalstop K61. Since Fusarium and Pythium usually enter through roots. It colonizes root system. By using to soak cuttings before cloning and using in nutrients fed to rooting clones, should do very good job of preventing problems. They also have a product to prevent powdery mildew and botrytis used as a foliar spray. I have nothing to do with any companies mentioned.

It is truly pathetic what you have to do to get acceptable product from people making thousands of percent profit on every order.

I received 6 healthy looking clones from the clone bank, will let y'all know if any problems pop up in them..
In colorado??? Website seems to be a month old is what worries me. Genetics seem to good to be true. Checked traffic to site, and almost none.

They also do not mention any breeders. Are they breeder cuts, or just seeds they popped.

I must have thrown out over 15 strains from 4 sellers, all infected. Tried some old seeds in fridge, which there must be hundreds of and 80% cracked, put into rockwool and none ever popped out after a week. Does anyone have a link to tek that works well??? Have always hated seeds and had bad luck. Needs to be able to go into coco. Like rockwool since easy to work with and see root growth.

Any issues so far?? First signs on plants I received were a little white mold at base of stem, then browning. Also twisted leaves, and lower sets of leaves dying. Best of luck.

Had cancelled an order with getseedsrighthere a couple of months ago after no shipment after a month. Was shocked to receive them 2 months later and thought a great guy. Alas, one has visible stem canker and other 3 are showing early signs with leaves twisting and not facing the light.

start seeds in fine vermiculite or 50/50 mix perlite vermiculite, use distilled water or sky caught rain water
dont bury seeds deep at all maybe twice the width of the seed deep be prepared to top up soil
keep seed tray covered and moist mist sprayer and check twice a day in the grow room 75-80F
dont let it dry out
once cracked water diluted organic plant food
by the third leaf set transplant... maybe sooner based on the strain
snip the first couple leaf and branches let sap dry a couple days,
light dust sulfur should stop your mold and fungus problems
bury deep on transplant

we need a list to up and down vote vendors?

maybe this is a start
Rae Sremmurd 10 months ago
whatever you do do not buy from clone kings, had a horrible experience, they are registered on BBB in a different state but sent my clones from California, they sent them 2 day instead sending it over night, i got them after 6 days , their response, when i sent the picture of my clones when opening them was and i quote "cripsy" then they used the holiday as an excuse to not resend or respond to my request for reshipment. so i never got the product i paid for and they didn't reship new clones. They have the worst customer service ever!!!! And their clones are shitty. Leafly should remove them from this recommendation.
I see why your laughing the clones and pictures dont even match... smh

maybe this
First thing I thought of when I read was that BS biased article that must be funded by the worst of the worst scam sites, Strainly.

This is what they say about strainly, who has had hackers filling my mailbox for months with malware -

"Instead of consulting social media or forums like Rollitup.org and Grasscity.com to vet a seller, Strainly’s customer-generated ratings and reviews system make it super easy for customers to quickly separate questionable listings from trustworthy ones. This mitigates the uncomfortable leap of faith customers need to take when buying clones over the internet, making this clone-buying experience much closer to modern online shopping."

Rollitup has one thread with 5000 posts, mostly complaints, padded with strainly trolls burying the real reviews. Strainly has a scam, that their checkout never works. If a vendor offers a deal, the checkout does not handle it, or if you order 10 clones, get charged 10 times for shipping, so you contact vendor who says it is a problem and they send you invoice to pay. Then was sent clones they knew were infected, on verge of death. They refuse refund, complain to strainly who says you cheated them by going around checkout, so tough shite, and can not post real feedback. That is why feedback numbers are pathetically low, and almost no bad feedback. Either the author is a sleazebag or leafly gets money from them. They also have no location information and use an IO or indian ocean domain so not under us fraud law. They also let vendors change names once a month. They tell you how long vendor is paid up until, and not how long there.

Strainly is the worst of the worst, although there may be some honest vendors, especially seed. Also lost years worth of work, and thousands in genetics from spider mites resistant to everything sent by their vendor, and found out they had them 8 months before my order, and at least a year after.

Will give it a shot. Have bag of fine verm, to fine for mycology. What would you put it in??? Need to be able to get into coco, which is why I like rockwool. It is small and plants can get established without taking up much room.

I just use a 50/50 mix of coarse vermiculite / sorghum peat moss
Two hand fulls of epsoma tomato tone powder in each 5 gallon pot
you can load up the bottom of pot with fertilizers
theres alot of info in here DIY Organic Potting Mix's

Recommend two strains CSI Triangle and Cannaventure ECSD
You like the OGs and Chems ?

In the first week they dont need anything better to not add due to keeping things sterile and clean
epsoma makes a liquid vegetable fertilizer buds come out crusty

Cut some clones from the seed starts and see how it goes im DM you too

STS your S1s and pheno hunt the hell outta them

I got cuts from pink box last year that had mites and aphids I believe. I had to shut down for 6 months. Lost about alot of high dollar clones and I tried harsh pesticides to get rid of them
Recently I used Legitcuts.com. I was amazed how well they came packed. Each clone was in its own box almost like you would find a tuna sandwich at work. That case also had a single led. That case was in a mylar cushion type bag them inside two bubble bags.
They will tell you their nursery has high humidity so you have to ween them off. I do that with a plastic bag.
I check my cut thoroughly for bugs . Nice and clean and the cuts are reasonably priced.

I was going to try them. Biggest issue was that they were Danky Ass on strainly and strainly is at top of my shitlist. Yes the prices and selection are great. Actually tried to buy from them on instagram and never received reply. Tried messaging on strainly and either strainly snoops on messages or Dany Ass was/is strainly.

I'm not 100% sure I purchased from hybrid farms and one other company I forgot their name . But I do know I ended up sending out alot of clones to friends and I'm sure I gave them the plague.
Legit cuts is great imo. Like many clone nurserys their plants are in a high rh / heat environment they have to be slowly wheened into a normal growing environment. If you plant and go they will wilt and die right away. I learned this costly mistake many years ago.
I stick new clones in my mini aeroponics systems with bags on top of them now and monitor root growth. I try to slowly lift the bag over 10 days in bottom leafs shrivel up your going to quick.

Have been cloning for over 10 years and that is not true. Have never lost a plant from transitioning from humidity dome to starter area. That is the BS excuse that sellers use when their clones arrive with stem canker, so they can blame the buyer. That is why only respectable sellers will guarantee past one day. Have seen one mold spreader recently that will send replacement for $80 if their plants were infected and died. Just received another batch and has huge spot on one stem from mold starting to choke plant, and all the rest are showing signs in leaves.

Biggest red flags for me with legit cuts is that they were/are strainly seller who changed name, and now selling on several web sites.

I really believe most of these sellers are pure scammers, intentionally sending out clones they know will never make it to flower so they can not be called out on selling fake genetics.

Actually 4 of the 6 died within 2 weeks, .. but I think it was my error.. I think I tried to transplant them too soon into a different environment, the ones that made it were Loompas headband and zkittles.. he's gonna replace the ones that died with the next order I make.. so we'll see.. Also no signs of any pests so far after a month..

I would guess they were infected with fusarium/pythium. They are trying to bulk produce clones, and in the process spreading to all of them. Can die rapidly or after months. Rapidly if temps and humidity are high, and after months if the opposite. Threw some plants on back deck and did not even feed, just water from rain and cold temps, and they started regrowing. Have spent hundreds on supplies to do tissue culture, and hoping to clean them that way. Early signs are leaf twisting, and mold or brown canker within 2 inches of growing media. Advanced would be that plus plant dying from bottom up, with leaves usually not falling off.

The real problem is most, especially those making money from them, or who have money to spare will assume their fault. 99% of sellers only guarantee plants for a day after receipt. The first 2 sellers I dealt with this year damn well knew the plants were dying, although probably did not know why, since lots of people who know nothing of cannabis are selling clones to get rich quick.

The 2 that did not die, try taking clones, and very high chance they will fail. I think most have healthy mothers, but it is in cloning with gaping hole in bottom of cutting and no root system, mold and bacteria have an open doorway. Used to think Snype, whose cloning method I use was going way overboard with sanitation, really knew what he was doing. Everything had to be surgical sanitary, and aerocloner he used antibiotics everyday for 10 days between uses.

Good luck, and thanks for reply.

Also, they say throw away any medium used and bleach containers and trays. If you must re-use medium, put in container, pour in boiling water, and cover for at least half hour.
