Day 25 update. Gave each pot 1/2 cup Craft Blend and 1/2 TBLS langbeinite. Then did some more trimming on the lower branches.

I try to keep the fan leaves and just cut off the popcorn branches if I can help it. They're little food storage containers for the plant when it really needs it, or in case I'm not keeping up with feeding.

Looking good man! Do you keep the mulch layer through flower?

I had a mulch layer on my organic soil but some cottony mold formed. Maybe it was beneficial but wasn’t sure so I went back to bare soil .
Thanks Stuntzii. Ya, I try to keep a mulch layer going constantly, but the cover crops kinda die off a little when the plants get big and block the light to the cover crops. But when I trim or lollipop I cut up some of the leaves and stems and use that for mulch too. The trimmings then get broken back down into food.

Since I started using cover crops and leaf mulch my soil has been healthier. I'm guessing that what you saw was probably just beneficial mycelium breaking down the mulch.

I was also wondering how you find top dressing with the cover crops on the soil surface. For me ,I see the weed’s feeder roots work through the new layer of top dress in about a week. Do you find the roots come up through the cover crop or do you wait for it to work its way downward. (Looking to do cover crops next grow)

I don't really worry about the cover crops. I just top dress like they aren't there. Same with when there's mulch on top. I just water over the dry amendments and let gravity do it's job.

It does help speed up the decomposition process a little if you put mulch over the dry amendments, but that's not necessarily always a good thing. I kinda like the slower release of just putting it on top of everything. I think that makes it a little harder to overdo things. Plus it's easier. But if I'm chopping any leaves, I'll at least put a decent layer on top of the soil.

Looking good @PadawanWarrior .

I just harvested some virgin topsoil from one of my clients gardens. They have a big area under oak trees that never gets touched for at least 20 years. There was a layer of leaves and leaf mulch over 10cm deep on top
I raked the leaves away and scraped of the top 5 cm. I must have got 200lt. It's like a beautifully structured blend of compost and mineral soil and I can see the mycelium in it to.
I plan to add balanced organic fertiliser to it and then some vermiculite or perlite and then get it into pots under a light and start growing cover crops on it till I'm ready to put plants in.

Any suggestions on other amendments?

Oh la la 🤯

Great job! 👏👊
Love how they present themselves.

What is this cultivar? I can only find flowers of Arctic Cookies.
Do not see any info about seeds/clones on seedfinder, google, etc.

Whats the genetic background/origins? Is it [Wedding Cake x Gelato 33]?
Who's creator/breeder? Is it your own? 😍

Thanks. It's Alien Rock Candy x Cookies and Cream. I got the clone from a local dispensary who created it. I tried selfing it to make seeds but my first couple attempts failed and didn't give me any pollen. I'm going to try again though.
