Allright i am finishing the flush now i'll be back in a couple of days with picts of the harvest. I took down one ot the apollos mist and the 2 sour bubbles a week ago. They are smoking nicely. Very heady high to the apollos. Good smell with a citricy fuel smell. the other pheno has more of a fruity smell and i can not wait to try her. Can't thank you enought Rez. I am looking forward to poppin my petrols next.
Stay tuned

AMD these have been the easiest growing for me out of everything i have tried. It basically takes care of itself. My Ph pen broke w/ about 60 days left and i never got a replacement. things just went as planed i checked on temp of the water, e.c. and how the plants and roots were reacting. nothing went wrong except some water flow restriction to one of the buckets which after fixing i had no issues.

I really like this system and if i was to grow big i would use this method. I only changed my res once because i actually changed what it was. I did do a through cleaning/flushing of the system for my flush which took a few hours as i kept getting sidetract :joint: ....LOL.

I must say thank you to Big Toke for his inspiration to do this. I can not wait to get this system dialed in, shouldn't take to long as it is pretty set with this run. :woohoo:

I guess the proof will be in the Pot-ing :biglaugh:
i think i'll have picts by wednesday as tomorrow i am chop'n em down, chop chop em down... :yummy:
I am impressed with the out come and i can not wait to share!

Thanks for stoppin by

Very nice grow you’ve got here raygun I’m glad you like the Bio-System when you diced you want to go big let me know that will be interesting ~ I have grower’s from all around that go fricking out when there {pH} gets 7 to 8, the Bio-System by design is one of the most sophisticated Hydro-System out there and I am constantly pushing myself and the system to the edge research facts I have posted LOTS of the facts only here at IC……………yes I do promote and push folks to use tap-water and for very good reason ~ although other hydro-systems may destroy a growers crop under such high {pH} conditions the fact is that the Bio-Buckets if built BigTokes way will buffer out all of those salts and overloads of minerals.

Fact is as anyone can tell you that has grown in a Bio-System that after a month or so they will start to see salt-build-up on the lava rocks so were do you think all the access of salt build-up goes that’s right start into the lava rocks which buffers out harmful overloads that most other systems have

The thing to think about when it comes to ALL hydro-systems is that properly operated there is very little deferent’s between them “if properly operated”, the thing is with the Bio-System is that there are so many good things going on that’s it’s hard to mass it up….lol and that’s just one of the good things about this system………….but every grower likes to bring his/her idea’s to the grow and I guess that’s just fine, my documentation was to simply to give growers a bases to operate from but if built the way that I laid out it will grow amazing crops.

HARVEST TIME BABY!

HARVEST TIME BABY!

Hey thanks Big Toke i could not have done it with out your inspiration and informative threads on this system! :respect:
I don't have any plans to go big as i am just a personal grower but was thinking about getting a room or a shed to house 4-6 5 gal buckets and do my veg in the cab.... Oh it never ends does it? :1help: :D If i do that I'll probably ask you a question or two now let me think... :chin:

I did notice salt build up on the lava i also noticed good bacteria colonies all white and covering the topsw ot the rocks  I hope that that is all good i did not think that i was bad and it did not hinder the plants. I have extreamly hard water with an e.c. of 0.8 and a ph to match @ 8. I had to suppliment some of the tap with RO water but did not eliminate it out completly.

Ok on with the show :woohoo: :lurk: :canabis: :joint:
First up is #3 it is the one in earlier posts talking about the kali mist pheno?

arr i have to many picts....new post

:woohoo:

Here are some more random picts from harvest :D

Well thats it folks 75-80 days clones could probably be taken around 70-75.
This plant was not light sensitive and it seemed to handle what ever i fed them. I am over all impressed the new system the new genes new bud same happy feeling that i have my homegrown again :canabis:
I'll be back with a smoke report hope you enjoy:wave:

Oh thanks reaper that is to much. ~`; } Much appreciated.
Well for my nutes i use floranova, floralicious, floralicious plus, kool bloom, liquid karma, hygrozyme and hydroguard.
I keep the e.c. between 1.5-2.2 in full bloom. it is pretty much 2/3-3/4 strength the bottle.
this is my 3rd run with the floranova/licious, LK, hydroguard i like it very much.

Is there anyone who can help coment on phenos? i was just curious.

Thanks for stopin by

…………..excellent ideas raygun, and yea a {pH} of 8.0 is high to start out with if I were you I would supplement it with RO but just until I started the flowering and then go back to start tap-water to balance out the low pH that your going to have…………..well all in all I think you did an excellent job my friend and when you get ready for that other little project of yours just let me know and I’ll help all I can.

Hey thanks Big Toke! Since I just flower in the cab i put in about 1/2 RO and 1/2 tap to start this next run. I will be ballencing between the both at 2/3 RO to 1/3 tap(my tap water sucks)
I ran 24 hrs with water hydrogen peroxide clearex and hygrozyme, kept the lava rocks in baskets in the buckets to get clean.
I now have just the new nutes running for 24 then on to a new batch!

I'll be back with some cured bud shots and a smoke report.

I would be delighted to help in a test grow or whatever you deem me worthy of :wink:

I will be running your Petrol on my next run after the Apollos once more :canabis: and was thinking of grabbin a pack of Indica seeds from you for the following run. The wonderfuck look delicious.
Do you have any recomendations?

I currently only have Sourbubble for any indica (even all my seeds all sativaish) and that shit knocks me out :bat:
I would like to get somthing different for variety and i got to tell you Rez I am very impressed. Ah funkit Im hooked!

Oh and by the way once ELVIS has left your building I will going to graceland! :Bolt:

yo mang its me. got some questions for ya.

how to harvest but keep plant?
how long and how to dry and cure?

Anyway everything is goin good and the little guys arnt so little anymore. is 18 hours of light a day good enough for them?

oh and where the F can i get that coco and bat gwano at? whats the name of it too.

and what exact brand of nutrients should i use. im running out of it my stuff. but i want what you use.

sank you bro. : :canabis:

Welcome!

Welcome!

Hey glad you made it. Lets see here:
#1 you can harvest up to 3/4 or more of the plant but leave as much leaf and lower bud sites as possible. you really don't have to leave much but the more you do the less time to regrow bushy as you left more bud sites to turn in to new branches
I think that this quote sums it up
CountryGardner said:
It takes me 4-6 weeks before any new growth. About when you are ready to give up. Don't over water, they are not using much. 18/6 light. Give it grow fert about once a week. I also use liquid karma, kelp, and at least two doses of hydrozyme. I chop off the top 2/3 and remove all buds and leave as many leaves as possible.
http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=74930

#2 You want to dry them in a dark dry place with good ventilation/air flow. Ive used a cardboard box and the buds hanging from string that was threaded through with a small fan blowin over the top of the open box. With the wether you have been having it could take up to 7 days to completely dry. When the stems crack when you bend them for the most part its ready. here is a good thread on it. http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=67031&page=1&pp=15

18 hours of light is great for them while they are still growing. Once they get to about 1/3 of the total size you want them when you harvest you need to change to 12hrs of light for flower. They will strech about 2/3rds there size most of them. The sour bubble you will want to let get a little bigger like almost 1/2 the size you want when it is done.

The coco is found at most hydro stores but just be careful about going to them, pay cash, never go directly to your grow afterwards and try to find one not in your area. I can talk to you about some that I have used one of them I know the owner and is very cool guy but its a little out of the way for you but if you made a day out of it would not be that bad. Plus its just once every 3-6 months at the most that you might have to go back for somthing. You might be able to find it at some speciatly nursaries but I have only seen the chunky and compressed types. I don't like the process of washing it with those. You can get the bat guano at most any nursary or Home de pot. I highly recomend a few hours reading material in the coco growers forum http://www.icmag.com/ic/forumdisplay.php?f=65577 any and all of the top ones are good info to know.

Last the nuterients I use is General Hydroponics; FloraNova, Floraliciaous, Floralicious plus and Kool Bloom. The additives are nice but not necessary and cost more $ check this out for a breif feeding and dosage schedule http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=1343060#post1343060
you could get away with just using the floranova bloom and floralicious plus to start and use that for veg and flower but you should at least get the floranova grow as well. You also might consider as an alternative if they do not have the floranova at the strore you go to to try some coco specific nutrients. I have thought about trying some out myself but since I still have lots of the Nova I have not gotten around to it.

You should take one of your bubbling buckets and fill that with your nutrient solution and let it bubble away. Put some coco in a nylon sock and drop it in or add an inch or basket of lava rocks so that benifitial bacteria can form and just use that for your watering. Once it gets about 1/4 left top it off with new nutrient solution.

Do you have any meters? pH E.C. or somthing to measure the strengh of the nutrient solution? If not if you plan on continuing after this run you should invest in some. I got an oakton pH and E.C. pen. http://www.generalhydroponics.com/genhydro_US/meters.html

I would also recomend purchasing a new light bulb as the bulb you have may be old and not putting out it best light. check this thread out and the links in it to purchase one of the CMH bulbs. You can only buy online but they look to be way better. http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?p=1362688#post1362688

peace and thanks for helping with the ladies!

Thanks! This was an old grow for me and I think that I pulled atleast 2 oz per plant. So atleast 6 oz but i think more like 8. I don't really weigh the total harvest just see how many jars it fills up. This one filled up 6 Kerr canning jars and I had to break out the large tupperware to hold some of those monster buds :rasta:

I keep the light as close as possible but move it atleast once a week around the cab to help distribute the light. With a 400 as long as the heat is not burning the plants I have been able to get them 4 inches from the bulb with out bleaching but this is not for an extended period of time. the only time i have had them burn or bleach out is when they grew and touched the cool tube for a day.

I grew some f2's i made from these and got one that tasted like tangerines :joint:
