wow alter, i definately had a sativa, thin leafs...didnt even have nice crystals ordecent bud formations at 45 days....
it made good cookies. just not for smoking.

thats why im persistant with my hate for names. its about the sativa-leaning or indica-leaning phenos' and peoples like and dis-likes for each sensation.

I agree with you about some of the naming schemes. Can be misleading...and at the end of the day, all I want to know is the high Indica based or Sativa.

The cookies idea is pretty cool. Can you imagine instead of "Chips Ahoy", having "Cannabis Ahoy". Really gives a new meaning to those Canna...er Keebler, Elves. Living in their Canna Tree. LOL

it's nice to see others still growing the apollo 13. there were a few of us at OG but most people were more interested in newer genetics. a little spin, a few pics, you have a winner. lol

hippy, i am really pleased with the apollo 11. just a lovely high. it's always a drag when you spend so much time growing something people rave about and then, blah. the good thing is, there is always another genetic.

you're right, no mention of F1s so I guess i've been misstaing what i have. all i know is, soul sold 500 of the apollo 13 seeds total and i got a batch.

what should they be called as they were bred from the seeds i got from bros grimm?

here is some info from soul:

Apollo 13 = Cinderella 88 x Genius (10% Shiva Skunk]
Genius X Princess 88 (aka cindy 88)
Princess 88 aka Cinderella 88 = Princess X Princess 75

here is soul's cubing method. many an argument and interesting conversations were had regards this method.:

"Procedure: CONTINUOUSLY KEEP A MOTHER IN THE VEGETATIVE STATE TO PROVIDE CLONES

1. Pollinate a flowering clone of the original female with the pollen of a related male, preferably her father or a brother. The resulting seeds contain 1/2 the original female's genes and 1/2 those of the male. An unrelated male won’t have the Y-chromosome of the chosen female’s family & therefore any Y-linked traits of the family will always be missing in the seedline.

2. Grow the above seeds & flower them. Collect an equal quantity of pollen from each selected male and mix it together.

3. Pollinate a flowering clone of the original female with the above pollen. These seeds contain 1/2 the original female’s genes plus 1/4 more because the male used was 1/2 her genetics too. I call this generation “.75” to capture the idea that it’s 3/4 of the original female’s genetics.

4. Grow the above seeds & flower them. Collect an equal quantity of pollen from each selected male and mix it together.

5. Pollinate a flowering clone of the original female with the above pollen. These seeds contain 7/8 the original genes (1/2+3/8), the ".88" generation.

6. Grow the above seeds & flower them.
Collect an equal quantity of pollen from each selected male and mix it together.

7. Pollinate a flowering clone of the original female with the above pollen. These seeds contain 15/16 the original genes (1/2+7/16), the ".94" generation.

Theoretically, this will be a stable, true-breeding seedline from which all females are replicas of the original. "

Thanks Fatboy for the info on breeding. I was always curious, I see it isn't as simple as just pollinating a female with some pollen. It can actually take a year or more to get stable genes. I have a lot more respect for all the breeders out there!!

ive growen the apollo 11 and 13 lines for years i got the original stock from bro grimm when they were in bussiness still have there original a13 in clone form and a11 plus have a11 and c99 in original seed left you will be in for a great many years to come with these strains as there one of the best ive ever had buy far great stuff bean love it mate

Genius as far as ive read wasnt cubed, but the C88 was...you could refer to the beans as an IX1, or incross1...as in 1 gen removed from the seed you grew out from the breeder, the Genius cut is from the same mother n father as Princess, and C88/99 is a Bx'd line from the Princess cut...so, Apollo11 and A13 are made from closely related parents, geneticaly identical bar A11 having more Cindy genes from the further Bx'ing...so, crossing A11 and A13 should produce a very stable line in theory....much like barbie.

13 A13's, so far unsexed...showing slight lockout due to PH, corrected now...

Havent tagged them individualy yet but by the next photo sesh they will be numbered, after sexing more seeds will be started outdoors...

Milo, thanks for the hit up...things are cool, the A13's are showing sex now, 7+ males id say at this point, 4 females so far...

Soon as they all have pre flowers ill re-pot the girls and then veg for 2 weeks before flipping the lights, the males will be put outside to grow and flower..then clones of the girls will be put outside with the males to make seed. Pics later.

Nice project BeAn!
Love the Apollo and plan on doing my own project later in the yr. I made "F2's" from original BG stock many yrs back, but my newbie ass just used 1m/1f, so they're bottlenecked. Will be introducing some new A-11 genetics into the mix when the project gets off the ground, ie. Genius clone and a pack of Rez' 'Apollo Trip'.
Smoked the last of my jarred-up Apollo's last yr. and it's time to restock the pantry. Really miss her, and it's heartening to see how others feel the same way!

The fan leaf on this plant are don-gar-gan ,,



the phyllotaxy n structure so far a little bit reminds us of Saxon Axe under-glass (perhaps it's just a relapse.. haha),, although the profile of the leaf blade is much less pashtun and slants towards the Thai aspect in the NL,,

The lineage of this plant confuses hell out of us,, gonna have to do some research on this one and try split it down on the next post,,

The side branches are right healthy at this age buddy,, the soil is my own "bull-shit mix" ,, some wilko compost, some ASDA 59p jobby,, some 2nd hand coco fibre,, maybe a sprikle of bat guano to retain the balance.. lol

Water is applied when she (think positive) looks hungry for it,, food is a mix of sea bird guano and Guinness piss (wee-wee as Growdoc calls it.. hehe ) in a bucket mixed with water .. lol,,, we done with 26 pounds for a bottle of spit from the shop ,,

As you can see it is far from complete but was about all the info I could find. Apollo 13 is so close you only need to take out the last backcross to the original Princess I think.
