Blueberry Headband Cross.

I crimped the branches to make them lay down sort of, to get more light to the internodes 5 or 6 places down from the growing tip.

1/2 broke one of them, that's the one leaning on the 1 gallon pot.

either way it was going to be a Bushy Girl. :friends:

it's an 11 gallon pot on top of a halfway filled 32 gallon pot. I drilled some extra holes in the bottom of the 11 gallon pot so they would connect with the soil in the bottom.

the fabric is cause it all gets so HOT. want to keep the roots COOL :gday:

We had storm warnings yesterday, I went out for food before I visited my girls and found a few busted up.

this is a wedding cake that had bad transplant shock and lost a chunk, same happened to my big ECSD.

I had a few plants with too small or not enough stakes and this Dosidos was busted off right at the base.

I spent 5 hours re staking everything luckily I had plenty of bamboo on hand.

got back up ready and 3 durbans, a HPK and a GMO will fill that mound and some seed plants
that showed female are going to get mixed into some of the spaces that won't fill out.

this is my third OD attempt but this time im running things that might do ok around here - my patch - started inside and planted in the ground July 7 -

I got some cool freezland crosses from a friend this year, he sent some f2 seeds he made when he heard I might not get my seed order in time.

I also have two bangi haze regs but I havent determined sex on them yet, I should probably go scope them now

I also need some advice on staking, I have a 24 rack of 4ft bamboo stakes, plants are around 4ft. I mostly scrog or sog with a net - indoor coco dtw, so growing outside is new and full of challenges.

Should I be staking where I think they will need support and tie to the bamboo?

Im trying to use what I have on hand for the rest of the grow. The only thing Id consider buying more of at this point is general predators. - bugs are in full force this year it seems? You cant tell by the photos really but these plants are getting munched up pretty good.

Found a male that had gone unnoticed until a few hours ago (funny because I've been closely looking over all of the plants for bug activity, still somehow missed it).

Boreal Curing

Is that a Boreal Light? I pulled 400 males last year and a few popped up late when I thought it was safe. I pulled them but the deed was done.

The upside was getting to harvest seed from the best girls and I got a lot of hash out of it. :biglaugh:

got back to the ultra early love potion seed spot, took a few pics of the earliest boreal lights there. culled some males, tied back the females showing , and left the unsexed alone for now. i will also be taking a few clones from some of these, some of these should will be really mold proof, based on past grows of the same seeds.

Golden Tiger rocks !

Thanks M.
Both GT3s are doing fine considering what they been through
Stuck with a balcony, heatwaves, strong winds, the girls in soil are doing so much better
With that in mind, and, their size I'm down to 8 girls
3 June starters Zamaldelica #2 and #3(in soil)
Malawi
KA5H in soil
Keeping both Golden Tigers(#1 in soil)
Panama Haze
Mazar which I started in early May
Bugs are another symptom of persistent heat.Much easier dealt with in a more open space environment (not balcony)
Zamaldelica #2,#3 and KA5H

Shade 4 Seedlings in a Pinch

Shade 4 Seedlings in a Pinch

Was slightly caught off guard by having 3 seedlings wilted.

They had water but they also had full sun.

They did not look completely dead. Maybe 1 will make it if I'm lucky ?

Got 2 left.

These were veged under a 15 watt LED. Maybe if I used more light they wouldn't be so leggy ? leggy = long weak stem.

I use the Yogurt cups to sort of prop them up and "aim" them towards the sky.

Just a whole bunch of Madrone leaves for the shade.

I'm thinking I'll add more and just completely shade the top till they get their "legs".

They're right next to some blackberries, which feed off a local aquifer, so I'm hoping one of these becomes a girl and roots down into the same aquifer.

All Blueberry Headband cross x 2019 male. 2019 male was a very drought resistant Indica.

Sadly, no, I ran some testers this season and part of the deal was I can't make seeds with 'em... and said late male was a tester plant, so I chopped it. I started three Boreal Lights just as an insurance policy if fall weather goes to crap, and all three of them are tall narrow leaf females.

Strong wind is my nemesis this summer, especially in my balcony, dust bin/holiday camp for bugs where they collect
Seedlings need wind to strengthen their stems, branching. Is spot getting enough wind, and if yes, supporting them to stand(maybe start LSTing them slightly away from full sun) will assist recovery
