excellent job on the king, montuno
perfection...

i looked up your position,
and you must have a 365 day grow season, down there...

us folk around 42N...well not so fortunate
we get frost, then snow....and build igloos....haha

anyways, why dont you consider trying to grow "panama red"
i did find a seed source of this very rare strain recently
and got some seed for myself to try grow up here next season
-we the north

this is an old school land race, and everything i read up on it
it was a real treat back in the 70s, if you were lucky enough to get your hands on it...it was always gobbled right up, right away
by the time you heard of it, it was already too late, and long gone
(that's insight into just how good it was)

it has excellent properties, is durable easy to grow, low maintenance plant from my understanding, great bag appeal
high THC 20% plus, tasty, aromatic, exotic smells and flavors
euphoric, non couch lock, energetic, creative all words to describe effects....

let me know your thoughts about that....
if you cant get seed for it, i can steer you in the right direction
it is very rare, and would do extremely well in your location

being that you are close enough to its natural habitat
it should fare very very well....

Really hoping all my sativa dominant plants fem seed start plants fill in and put on weight soon. I’m running humboldt seed company’s stuff that’s supposed to be finished by Oct 5th. It’s looking like a good bit of them are gonna at least another week past that.
Ran 3 HSC in 2018
I ran their Dream Queen that said September 15- October 1. Pulled them October 5 &6.
The Mango Trees said September 20- October 5. Pulled them October 7.
The Pineapple Trainwreck said September 15- October 5. Pulled them a little late on October 8.

Hola axle!

I am between 38 and 39°N in the interior of the European peninsular Spain (only about 3° more to the south than you), hundreds of kilometers from the coast, and a little more than 800 meters of altitude: here there are also frosts and in winter you can have night minimums of a few degrees below zero.

Look, for example, the photos of a Psilocybo's Malawi Bangui, which I grew a few seasons ago; they are from December, and you can clearly see the ice that has formed on the resin of some isolated low flowers:

That December's day was the coldest day of the year...:

Tell us more about the origin of these Panama Red, axle. Do they come directly from Panama, or are they from a seed bank?

I have never grown it pure, but here it is known and used by local banks like CannaBioGen or A.C.E. I have grown Panama from these two banks, in which the Panama Red Hair is crossed with two other Panamanian landraces.

For the next season I will grow some Drago aka Vuelo de dragon, which is a non commercialized variety of, I think, the I.C. members nachillo (a CannaBioGen breeder) and guanche. It is a (Malawi Gold * Meao Thai) * Punto Rojo. Although I think that the Punto Rojo used is Colombian, I think that it is very related and it is very similar to the Panama Red . I leave you a picture of guanche from a main tail of one of those potted Drago aka Dragon Flight (but she is more un the Meao Thai side, I thik):

Besides of a Drago, I will grow a Durban Poison'70 , and a Extreme Haze (NL5/Haze, "extreme Haze feno" * OldTimers Haze, green light cut), both from Tropical Seeds Company.

Salud.

Technically indoors now, but these were growing outdoors before the chop. These are all from home made seeds that I learned how to make from this thread: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=357407 Crosses are: Holy grail kush x kosher tangie, Strawberry cookies x kosher tangie, Florida OG xGG4, and GG4 x kosher tangie. This took 10 hours to trim, many of these buds were a PAIN to manicure:

Definitely not bammer weed, this is Holy grail kush x kosher tangie. Smells exactly like holy grail kush:

However, my true love are these low yielding, forever flowering, PITA landrace sativas:
