Anyone see a seed make twins?

yeah i would call it self topping as well, only seen it once myself. I've seen two plants from one seed a few times but thats not twins, more a result of hand pollination

Yes you are correct :tiphat:as it got a few days older i could see the main stem coming up between the two sides. I have been told it would have split above the cot's and below the first set of leaves.

As hand pollination goes, you are correct as it was pollinated inside. But how can you prove this? I cant see that the plant knew it was pollinated in or outside. This strain has ran for a long time and the grower is an indoor grower and not able to grow outside.

But i can and want to see what she does. The pic was grown under my new LED's and after she popped i just couldn't wait to see what they would do, lol. So from party cup to 12/12. The funny thing about this plant was i had no room to hang my lights so i sat them on there ends and turned the plants about every other day. My LEDs are bars and cover a wide range so while finishing the NL<IN ALBUM> I tossed this in with it to see what sorta growth i would get. It was great, if i could spin these lights and had the room, i would try vertical. My NL#5 i flowered with it was out of this park man, it really did a great job.

But this strain was pulled from 24/0 in a party cup, then re pot an into flower. Cant wait till i get them big enough to go out, its getting late, but il still have time for her to finish.

Sorry the pic was the only one i had and still had time on her, but some of the best pain relief iv ever had. The next is a pic of the NL#5 bud, only because they grew up together, lol:dance013:

Peace,

the cube with 2 plants in it cam from one seed that had a funny second belly. once it cracked it fell apart into 2 sprouts. it's a sour amnesia from hortilab. the first twin i ever came across.

Never saw one in over 25 years of growing, then in my last two grows I got one set of twins each time. The first time I just chopped the smaller of the two. This last grow I separated them and grew both out. Both did fine health-wise, but one was quite a bit smaller and never caught up.

Its due to indoor/hand polination, like a cloud goes over the female and 2 grains of pollen hit the female ovule (right word?) at the same time, impregnating her twice causing twins (something like that). I have had a lot of them from my pollen chucking experiences. One always seems the strongest.

I dont know how it makes any difference how it was pollinated, by hand or outside. The same thing should happen in or out in my opinion. Its getting pollinated period, i would believe its more of a genetic thing in the seed. I think you might have got lucky or not lucky, i guess its all in what the twins did for ya.

How could we prove it though?

Clone it and have a garden of bushes.

Thats the plan bro:dance013:it was fimed as best as i could two days ago. I always try the Fim, but if i fail it gets topped. Im wanting to get clones, but a scrog is the goal.

Thanks for popping in bro:tiphat:

Ive seen multiple embryos in one seed. Upto three seedlings from one seed. Usually atleast 1 is the runt, and doesnt have the vigor the other seedling has, and is usually culled. I tried an experiment growing the seeds side by side to see if they contained the same pheno/genotype, but lost track of them when I moved outdoors..

In over 5 years of production, I have only had this happen once. wish I had seperated so I could find the mom. Also this happened when everything was just bustin out real well.
