Anyone run Emerald Triangle Seeds

Was thinking of running Super Sour OG, or Blueberry Headband. Anyone familiar with this breeders wares? Aforementioned specifically? Will be grown indoors, hydro buckets, 600 hps flower, 400 mh veg in a 54''x'54''x 80'' tent.

i have grown out the super sour og and it is a great plant. The finished product has a smell that keeps my nose in the jar and translates to taste. The pheno i kept doesnt have an awe inspiring stone, but it def does the trick. I will be trying more of their strains

yeah, i kept bending the top while vegging and had 10-15 tops. got about 2 oz. Grown hempy style, and vert lighting. good all around plant. Gonna try their blueberry headband and a few others next

That's exactly what i was thinking. An old friend on the west coast told me about them, so im trying to get more info before dropping the coin.
Thanks guys, im just gunna bite the bullet and grab em. Ill post up my run when i do.

The Bubba 76 is legit, I ran it. Big frosty buds, good potency.

That was an option as well @Yesum. A friend of mine said alot of her patients ask for that specifically. Perhaps i can score some as well, as said though, in need of more information. But it seems people have had success with the breeder, and strains im interested in. Thank you all for your time. Good day to all.

Re: Anyone run Emerald Triangle Seeds

I'm growing out SSOG right now, at week six and this is one frosty plant...I have found a couple nanners but nothing else...

I'm using a ppk with Jacks Hydroponic nutes and cal-nit...was using 600ppm but had to bump her to 750 to stop a couple deficiencies...

I didn't top mine or tire her down but I did do quite a bit a pruning and leaf removal...

aren't these the guys that took a bunch of Zoolander's gear, made F2's, then renamed them, hid the lineage and made them available for retail?

Yeah Poopy that's my Chem Sis x NL 1x5 which is also the same stock Emerald Triangle seeds f2'd and based 80% of their line up on but I will be selling the Chem Sis x NL x Sour Lemon Larry which is eactly what they robbed me for to make their gear. Check out their line up and you can see just how they changed the names to make them look like breeders. total Douchebags, now they won't answer their phone because they know a shit storm is coming.

i hope you dont mind but i already started in on em some...

thats some HORSESHIT bro.
didnt they only get like 3 seeds... and they are based off of f2s from those 3?
man brother...

no respect.

Yeah they got 5 and only needed 3 I guess and were dumb enough to give to back two the person they sourced them from . I guess ya know their good in a way but man talk about no selection lol

miscbrah, have you ran blueberry headband before or is that beautiful girl the first, she looks very nice, could you tell a little about the smell, type of high, any preferences she may of had during grow, etc.Buds are nice and frosty, are they solid.? Infinitesimal- we hear so much of this going on and its so hard for us normal folks to really know whats up. Having said that, I have followed zoos grow threads from several years ago on another forum and have much respect for his abilities, also yours. Cant wait to get zoos seeds from seedbay and compare, I was very excited to see his name on site-but have yet to see seeds offered. If its true that would explain the great genetics e.t. has. Peace

Re: Anyone run Emerald Triangle Seeds

@Johnny: How many lamps? Could you update ( when avail ) with yield, etc? So alittle unstable or was she stressed (from stated deficiencies)?

I'm gonna say that she is a bit unstable because she only had a very slight mag deficiency and it was corrected easily...also, I don't have any light leaks or great issues that is the reason I killed off the clone I was going to keep as a mother...I've still got a few more seeds...I'll run those sometime and see what happens...

I run a 600w vertically in a 4x4 tent for flowering...

both those 2 were first runs with the strain...also both hermed on me big time, fem seeds not regs..1 pheno was a very fruity smell, the other had a pepper like smell....high wasnt super strong...made my eyes really dry, taste was ok, sour blueberry taste in mine..... could take nutes but i probably wouldnt grow it again.

that smell,
I know it happens all the time and thats really where the value of these forums comes in... a lot of times when I look at strains name, lineage descriptions and price points I sort of get a gut feeling one way or the other... and ET's line up has attractive names combined with genetic lineages that are equally unattractive and don't really add up to the hyped names they are trying to push, combined with over $90 a pack leaves me not feeling confident in making a purchase from them... which was a good thing I find out after learning all of this between Zoo and ET seeds.
the best thing to do when looking for seeds is do your homework... understand what genetics where used to make the cross, and look for reviews of the strain with people finding true keepers, beyond that find a few breeders you trust and share similar ideas about quality herb and rock their gear!

zoo has made 2 drops already I believe, under his private breeder section at seedbay... you gotta keep up on a few threads to stay on top of it... his threads and the seed bay drop and realist thread where everyone camps out... his stuff is usually posted and sold out that day or the next, so you really have to keep tabs on when it is all going down or you will miss them
------------------------
Im now confused. So this breeder stole his wares, and renamed them?

not meaning to sling any mud, but rather give the facts (as I see them) to those questioning buying their gear, everyone should know exactly what they are forking over their dough for...

can you find good plants in ET seeds and are the genetics solid??? sure there will be good plants and since they did base their lines off of Zoo's (Chemsis x NL) x Sour Lemon Larry the lines are solid enough I guess...

The things people should be aware of and keep in mind when determining weather or not to buy from ET are...

* a 3 seed pollen chuck created the F2's (of Zoo's work) that almost their whole catalog is based upon.

*while not the priciest beans they are quite expensive given what they are... Zero selection pollen chucks (with incorrect lineages)

* and most importantly the incorrect lineages... one, the lineages they give are not impressive and do not describe the strain names they are trying to sell (they just don't match up) partly because they had to cover up that they did no selection work and used Zoo's strain to father most everything...

*secondly, who knows what females they are actually using either... look at their Sour Lemon OG for a funny example.... the mother is California Sour (mexican sativa x afghani) x rare lemon OG... LOL man, first I have never ever heard of california sour and isn't mexican x afghan the same lineage that Soma tried to give his NYCD which people still laugh at... there is no Sour D in a mexican x afghan cross LOL and blueberry headband... they don't even use headband! LMFAO

they're all around un ethical, charge a bunch of dough for strains with questionable mother plants and genetics as a whole, all based off the idea of "The Emerald Triangle" and that nor cal has it all (which we do, we are the shit :D) with a bunch of fancy OG this, Kush and diesel that type names to attract buyers looking for those elite clone only varieties from nor cal, for which they are named... but then they don't actually contain those genetics and people get taken... and maybe they still grow some good plants but they won't be OG, Diesel, headband... and the now proud grower who may have never had access to real OG, Diesel, Bubba Kush or headband is now thinking they have and worse may be even spreading a clone around as one of the aforementioned strains thereby tarnishing its reputation.

it makes me sad that people from cali are dong this type of stuff as it hurts our reputation for having the best and it hurts the honest breeders who work hard to use only the best plants, make proper selections and keep the lineages clear and precise... as opposed to just bagging up any seed that comes from nor cal and sell it for dough because it was made in "THE EMERALD TRIANGLE"

those are my opinions on ET seeds and not to pick on Et to much the same could be said for probably over 50% of most breeders on most retail sites.

buyer beware!

Peace,
Infi
