Anyone remember WillyJack seeds???

That seed company crossed MightyMite with everything.

I remember the strain but never tried it, you're right he crossed it a lot
He had a simple breeding program in comparison to other seed banks but I loved his gear, I'm not one to advocate someone stealing anthers work and that's kinda what he did ( if he had renamed it and claimed it as his own) but WJ was straight up and told they were F2's from Good Sensi stock at a affordable price.....
I've not got to try many of the higher breeders stock but I've grown at least 100 bought strains and his genetics are in the top 10% with me, my number one strain is 1999/2000 sensi afghan #1 for weight with Cindy99 being the choice for weight and quality.

Greetings,

I bought a bunch of Willy Jack seeds back in the day. I remember a Strawberry or Strawberry... something that was really good but I don't remember if it was one of his. I still have two packs of Willy Jack Early Girl Haze. I need to sprout those since they have been sitting in a refrigerator for 15+ years. LOL. I kept them because someone I know found a great Early Girl (Afghan x Mexican) once. The offspring did not breed true. Makes me really wish I had Early Pearl (Mexican x (Afghan x Mexican)) since I believe the magic came from the Mexican in it. The Early Girl Haze might be something worthwhile.

There is or was a nice early girl cut around here. Tasty with nice high. I wanted the "Willy Jack" Williams wonder x Jack if I remember.

Skydog was another.
That stuck around the garden for a few years.

Edit;
Damn I type slow.

I will try and look thru some of my old high times and cannabis culture mags to show you guys some willy jack ads.

I was just thinking about them recently. It was all knock offs of Dutch strains i believe.

I never even thought to do that I got ( and I shut you not) every issue since 1990 until 2014 then I just stopped buying them....

I know a lot of breeders get upset when they make knock offs but if they're not passing it as their own shit and offering at a good deal I see no big issue, WJ never once tried to take credit he said right in his ad they were F2's of sensi or who ever he used...
Willy Jack if you see this my friend I for one miss your seeds wish you'd do some more!!

Burt, he did good with those f2's I think he said he selected the parents from 100 or so F1's the man did good imo.

Ah..those were the days. The Marc Emery catalogs were like the Sears and Roebuck Wishbook at Christmas for us kids. Willy Jack had the most memorable seed company logo.

Wow... Knowing what I know now about what I prefer to smoke as compared to a long time ago, theres several crosses I would(ve) LOVED to run. White Widow @ the time was the "popular" name, so thats what I bought... Oh well. Thanks for posting those pics, t99! :)
