I bought a few packs thru Marc emery back in the day for $50 a pack cheap price but they were all awesome strains, best info I can remember is willyjack took 100 plants of each strain he was gonna cross ( and it seemed they were always sensi seeds strains because they were actually good back then) wj too the best selections out of the 100 and crossed them with the best of 100 from another strain, like NL x big bud , jack herer x big bud and so on. Those are the two strains I got and man I wished I had made beans but this was in the late 90's and I was limited to what I could do as far as breeding.
This guy took good strains and made it economical affordable for everyone to try good strains, I wish I knew willyjack im sure he's got a treasure of beans to share lol. Thanks Willy jack, I was a new father that lost his job and you my friend helped us survive....

They used a slightly altered pic of Dali on the ads - I do remember them. Dropped out of sight after the Overgrow/Heavens Stairway raid & shutdown. Were they Canadian?

Yes I think he was Canadian, I talked a lot with him and breeder Steve from spice of life on overgrow years ago. His logo was a man with long hair kinda pirate looking with flames in background. I know cali turns plants up to 5 lb but where I live 3lb is a freak of nature lol and out of the pack of 10 beans 7 were female 2 plants averaged 2lb 12 oz each and 2 more had more than a pound each, that's pretty damn good here. I've grown and I'm guessing over 100 bought strains over the years and willyjacks strains produced more than any.

It was slightly altered likeness of Salvador Dali

You got it, I'd give $50 a bean for them today knowing what I know now. I'd gave to save my money but I'd do it lol.
Thanks for sharing the pic

Bought a pack of some kind of WW hybrid from him about a decade ago, maybe more... Nothing really special out of 'em. And wasnt the logo an older gentleman with long white hair in a knit blue beanie?

I remember Willy jack fondly, still running two of his crosses started in 1998.
Haze x chronic, strong as hell and finishes in seven to eight weeks every time.
Nebula x blueberry, trippy and up, every once and a while someone thinks it is laced.
Good things were found in every pack I bought.

Old bearded man with hair on fire when I got them.

Hair on fire, that sounds right... I would definately grab some if they were still around, Im surr there were gems in those mixes. To be fair, its hard for me to remember that far back, so, if something wouldve been the shit from what I grew of Willjack, Id remember it, but average and bunk dont get memories. If anyone has pics of thier keepers though, would love to see! :)

edit: lol...scrolled right past the logo, didnt even realize it. Wouldve never knew it was Salvador Dali...

We still have several 50 packs of willyjack seeds in long term storage. Might have close if not all of his entire catalog on ice. I'll look into it after the new year.
Some of our outdoor varieties our collective still holds today were bred using some of willy's work.

He had a huge selection too. I was just thinking the other day how I never took advantage of his efforts. I guess my favorite Canadian F2'er was Joey.

Wow that's great, I wish I'd had the insight to done that. The NL x Big Bud got about 6' tall and super bushy I was growing them in big garbage cans filled with promix feeding them miracle grow like no tomorrow, the NL x Jack Herer was a little taller 8-9' and not as bushy as the other.
