Cabinet Grow: C24 Cabinet, split in half. Only growing in half of it.
Grow space: W=30", D=20", H=52"
Lighting: 400w HPS
Medium: FF OF Soil
Water: Brita/bubbled tap
Containers: 5gal FF OF Soil
Nutrients: FloraNova + additives (liquid karma, superthrive, sweet)
CO2: NO
Temps: 75-80
RH: 30-40
Strain: paradise White Berry (Indica, Single Cola dominance, will probably need to top to scrog this successfully)
Stretch: I am not sure of the exact stretch of this strain, but it is 75% indica so it shouldn't stretch anymore than 50% to 100% it's size.

Veg plan: Veg 1 clone for 4 to 6 weeks under T5 flo lights. Then move to 400w HPS and veg for another 4 to 8 weeks. Filling the screen 1/2 to 3/4 with 1 clone

Flower plan: 1 clone scrog'd under 400w HPS, 8 week flower

The strain is a low to average yielder. Does anyone know what yield I should be expecting? Is 6 to 8 oz per grow unrealistic?

I will go from seed to find a mom, I will then clone the possible moms and flower the clones without much veg time to verify the mom's quality. Once a mom is established I will have a T5 flo dresser to keep 1 mom and 1 small vegging plant in. Then we will do most vegging and all flowering in a C24 that is split in half under a 400w HPS.

So basically we keep the mom in the dresser under a T5, clone it, takes 2 weeks to clone. Then I will veg the clone for 4 to 6 weeks under the T5 in a 1 gallon container and let it get established. Then the clone will go in the C24 under the 400w hps and be vegged for 4 to 8 weeks until the scrog screen is 1/2 to 3/4 full.

When the clone is put into flowering in the C24, I will cut another clone from the mother plant. It will take 2 weeks to clone, and 4 to 6 weeks veg under the T5 in the dresser. So the clone will be in the dresser for 8 weeks (same amount of time it takes to flower in the C24). So after the 8 weeks in the dresser, the C24 will be free again because it will be harvested by then.

What do you think? I will keep running that cycle, it's kind of a perpetual setup. But the C24 won't just be used for flowering, it'll be used for veg and flower. But that's because I only want 1 plant at a time, so I've gotta veg it for awhile.

Any suggestions are welcome, thank you.

all i can say is that it is better to flower too early than too late. It's a good idea to know how the strain acts (branching and whatnot) so you know the best wat to orientate and when to flip. I have WW and i am going to flower next time when only about 40% of the screen is filled(in coco), so in soil maybe a little later. But you will have to experiment and find out how much she stretches when flipped and how much them sides are gonna grow out.

Yeah, I send paradise an email, hopefully they respond telling me about the stretch. I'll probably do my first one at 50% of the screen to be safe, then more or less the 2nd time depending on the results.

Do you have any idea what I could yield?

id say 15 lbs, its impossible to guess what your yield will be bro, with a 400 id says anywhere from an oz to up to 4,5 maybe 6 oz who knows tho , well you will shortly enjoy the garden

if you have a 400W system and are going to SCROG, you need only study one thread. 1 plant - 450 grams

Now don't go thinking you can do what this man did, but it gives you an idea of the potential. Study hard.

This link is useful for SCROG too: Link to SCROG Grows

best of luck and take it easy.

- no worries

oh yeah, don't focus on yield. do it to the best of your ability, with tender love and care, and see what you can get. then improve upon that.

That grow is actually what inspired me to do a 1 plant scrog.
He got 1 lb but he was hydro with a heavy yielding strain, and a bigger cabinet.
Mine is soil, a average yielding strain, and smaller cabinet. So I think 6 to 8 is reasonable. But yield doesn't matter THAT much to me.
Thanks for the help

The only way to know is to run it and find out. I'm excited for you, I too will be in possession of a whiteberry beauty in May. A gift from a friend. Hope you post up about your experience with her. Here's some of what you should be expecting(all whiteberry).

I did not take any of these pictures. Credit to those who credit is due.

Yield?? perhaps 10 times greater than your expectations.

Your yield depends on the strain you use, and factors.

I ask ONE question of you? Do you want to grow top bud?????/ or are you in it for the money??
