anyone evre use the new "organic" soil from micral grow??

i recently saw a TV ad for this "all organic" soil from micral grow?
anybody ever tried it? how close is it to fox farm OF?
just wondering cause the FF OF is 20bucks a bag!! and when ya have 40-50 "projects" going at once, the price can REALLY add up!

any feed back yall have would really help
thanks in advance...

Just mix some guano in your current Pro-Mix medium bro. Problem solved. I know what you're doing, trying to add organics to the soil to lessen the feeding amounts/stem the yellowing. Understandable. If you do exactly what you're doing now, but use guano in your potting mix too, you'll have to feed much less. But as we know, built-in organics makes it nearly impossible to totally rid the plant of nutes by harvest. But that's the way the mop flops I suppose.

What you'll find is that the method you're using now is finicky, but like anything that takes some adjusting, eventually you'll get what you're looking for, without compromising the quality of the smoke. In the end it's not how much smoke you grew, but how much you enjoyed the smoke taht matters. And the most enjoyable smoke is the smoke that's fed the least... Bar none. The best weed I have ever experienced was grown outdoors in sandy/stoney soil, and not fed by me at all. The smoke was the stuff of naughty dreams, and it was also where I learned how to starve my indoor ladies to emulate those outdoor conditions with very, very little food. Now most of my herb burns like a dream, as I believe you know first-hand

But with the ones you have right now, don't be afraid to feed them. I know exactly what your setup is, and I'd FEED THEM GROW! If that happens not to work well, FEED THEM MORE GROW/LESS BLOOM  You'd be surprised how much I fed this last crop without ever getting close to over-feeding. Earth Juice Grow is very light on plants; the nitrogen leaves/is used relatively quickly.

I've never heard of micral grow, but my experience says your extra cash upfront for quality supplies will give you a superior product

gentleman, thanks for the pearls
CC, whats up brother
guess ya read my mind! that bout sums it up!
N levels are killin me. iam giving em 3tblsp/gal of the grow, and 2 day i switched em to the bloom reg. ( they've been in flower since may 3rd )
just worried bout carring the N levels through mid/late mid flowering?!

if i was to use guano's, would a mexican guano work best. i belive its like 13-0-0?? and the amounts? 1 tblsp/guano per 1gal/promix??

i'll go and snap a couple of pix so ya can see what i mean..

thanks again

the micral grow organic mix will burn baby mj plants and can offten cause root rot or the stem itself will rot cuz the water sokes in very slowly so this is just a head up about it!!

Actually, now that I see these new pics I have a different opinion... Have your ladies been allowed to get too dry? It looks like old drought damage more than N deficiency from those last pics.

 For me the best guano to use all arround would be Pacific Seabird Guano (PSG) which i believe is 12-11-3. For flowering I add a bit of Jamaican Bat Guano which is 1-11-0. I make a tea with the guanos and feed them probably everyother watering... in flowering i might give Jamacian every day to help with bud formation. That mexican bat shit would probably be real good to use for veg.

What I would do if I were you (and this is just a suggestion you can do as you wish) Is feed them an even ratio of the mexican shit and PSG during veg. Probably use this for a week into flower also. Then switch it to an even ratio of jamacian and PSG for the first month of flowering. For the last couple weeks (before you flush) use just straight jamacian in your tea. That way the nitrogen will hopefully be a lot less when you start to flush. Of course if you can a bloom booster or anything like that would be good to add during flower as well. I like organics. Its probably true what CC said about it being hard to flush them but I think with organics flushing is not as important as in hydro... but its still important of course
^^^ all of that is referring to even ratio in your guano tea

Good luck man. And ya that could be a drainage problem. I would cut down on the ammount you water each time and water more often. I find the plants do best when watered frequently (like a cup a day) rather than them being waterlogged every 2-3 days.

Again good luck!!! :joint:
