anyone ever have their seed order taken by customs?

Never lost an order here! Also, on the + side comparable beans are much cheaper here than there.

They were a great place to order from, and still are if you live in a part of the world that isn't onto them yet. Things may change after their staff 're-training' this month though (for the better).

If I ordered through here (bay or bou), they still have to go through customs dont they? I'm not sure never ordered through there.

Heh. I have little doubt that US Customs has ordered from every vendor that ships to the US, many times. It's a form of intelligence gathering.
The whole point of stealth shipping is to get lost in the crowd, to become unrecognizable in the sameness of a million leaves floating by in the wind on an autumn day.

better yet, i think its time for seedbay to do that.... you cant tell me US Customs isn't on to it yet... same goes for every other seed biz... its a shame that a seed is under such restrictions...

I've ordered from them at least 25 times in the last 8 or 10 years, only got green taped once, n the tude reshipped it, with no problems.
Edit: Dang.. didnt' see this was a state specific question..
I've never had problems. Been doing it for a long time. Mebby 15 years or more.. I've ordered as recently as 2 weeks ago.
I did lose 1 order over the years.. Reeferman seeds..
Funny story:
I ordered from Marc Emery back in the day. The enevelope was so ripped up all you would have to do is peek inside to see the seed packs.
I have received every order I have placed, I order 1-2 times a year I use Attitude with no fancy shipping, Could be just luck. But here's a real funny one, My dog needed heatworm pills you need a prescription here in MI to get them. They sell them online in Australia so I ordered them from there, I received a letter from the postal service that they were confiscated, I could not even believe it. Dog meds, Oh well they can have them. Idiots. Jay
Oh hell yeah (not Seed Boo). A couple years ago the seeds were stopped by customs and I have been doing clones and making seeds since then. I got the envelope with the green customs tape and the bad boy form letter inside. I don't think there is any follow-up though. I am in a MMJ and REC state even. I think customs is a different branch of government then Eric Holder and DOJ.
Customs once snagged a package of mine. They didn't take anything but I did have to sign for it at the post office.

On another site, much smaller a new breeder was giving seeds away. They let everyone pick from a pretty good sized list Almost Every American got the package, minus the seeds with customs tape on it. Customs must have had good information on that breeder. I don't know how the seeds were secured, as they were missing, but they sent a nice Christmas card. Everyone that got the free seeds seemed to be pretty happy with them with some starting a thread or commenting in a thread the site have about the promotion. Is is shame the company went through the expense of sending them out only to be snagged by US Customs.

Yes my enevelope with a letter inside arrived today.. seeds gone. Thought it was legal to get seeds from Canada?
Strange as other seeds from countries I have ordered from the internet arrive safely. Letting the company know and if they want the package I shall gladly send it to them. One thing they did do was put scotch tape over the stamps and by the Postal service that is a no no.

Had a friend in Canada where he'd trade auto strains with us. Postal machine sorter smashed them to smithereens several times.
Vendors need to be a bit more creative in sending orders. Got one a few years ago....green tape and live in a legal state.
Try Great Lakes Genetics, a US based site (MI)....might solve your dilemma.

Cannapot just ships them in a small envelope in the breeder packs with the contents listed as "beans" and I've had two orders make it through customs.. or actually somehow SKIP customs.
But for Michigan people, why not just order your beans from the largest seedbank in the USA, Jackson County Compassion Club. They carry about everything that people want, quite a few local breeders, some stuff that you cant find other places. I mean really, just drive there and visit. Pick up beans, go home. No problemo. Michigan law allows for UNLIMITED *incidental* seeds. This is why we should become the breeding capital of the USA.
Clones are available at shops, legit clone only strains. There is a little back alley place in AA that people line up, get a number; come back later and pickup their genetics first come first serve. Lots of good stuff. I want male clones, seriously...
