Anyone else tired of smoking?

Isopropyl alcohol leaves nothing behind. It's just pure alcohol, diluted with a little water (I use the 91% but you can get it as pure as 99%).

after taking an enforced break while job hunting, it is amazing to me just how little weed it takes to get me high. a little chunk not much bigger than a BB in a one hit pipe does me just fine these days. talk about stretching your weed out, LOL!:woohoo:

I have been increasingly bored with most pot as I get older, landrace sativas have fixed that for me. Of the 15-20 types I have going at any point in time, I only smoke three or five of them. Anything indica leanings just makes me tired, no time for that.
Medibles have cut my smoking to about a third, they just work so much better for me.

Mowood-

Sounds like you need some indicas. If you can get them- awesome, everything here is sativa only lately. Wish I could pick up some sleepy-time.

thought i pasted your quote.

I hear ya Grow Tech. I have to admit there have been several times recently that I finish a crop and smoke maybe one bowl before it goes off to market. Way more into the process than the finished product. I was a wake-n-baker for 12 years. Then took about 6 years off.

Im doing more edibles these days and the occasional Dab if Im hanging with that crowd (generally younger).

Consider medicating in different locations i.e. in the woods, by a waterfall, high on a hilltop.
Consider consuming with different tools i.e. vaporizer, sherlock bubbler, small bongs.
In the past I found consuming, even different strains but still, in the same place, with the same tool, began to get mundane. If all else fails, tolerance break. Actually, tolerance breaks are great and I highly recommend them when not failing. Best of luck!

I have plenty of indicas in my rotation, four of five patients I work with prefer heavy indicas. I don't care for them, gorilla glue#4, Death Star, purple erkle, all fine medicine for some.
I've never had access to sativas until the past couple of years.
Growing them indoors is not too easy, but the results are worth it to me.

Everyone is different but we all know about being "burned out", LOL, with lots of things in life. Take a break and let your gut guide you as to when it's time to smoke. 1 phrase that I find to be true time and time again is " Less is More". Limit your use and you will find it to be more intense, relaxing and enjoyable for sure!

Keep on Growing Ya'll

I still like to smoke, but as you get older priorities change. In my early 20's I liked to wake and bake and stay stoned all day. I also spent most of my time on the beach. In my 30's I spend most of my time in the office so things are different. Not necessarily worse, just different. I still enjoy the herb, but savior it more like a fine glass of wine than a requirement for breathing.

I'm familiar with the concept of being tired of toking up. However, I can't remember ever being tired of it myself. There have been times that I've smoked less or not at all, but was never because I was tired of it.

I used to feel this way, and then I switched over to oils. After the "thrill" of oils started to wear off, I found myself barely vaping anything at all, and so I switched back to smoking again... and for the first time in like 20 years I'm barely smoking at all. It's crazy, because I didn't plan on (or expect) this at all! I just don't have the compulsion to smoke during the day anymore, and pretty much only smoke at night before bed, and sometimes during the day on the weekends. I'm getting so baked these days, it's silly.

So, maybe try switching things up by going over to oils, just so that you are changing something about your routine, and who knows, it might be the catalyst you needed.

I think cannabis oil has ruined my smoking of weed..

was dabbing about a gram to 2 grams a day for aw hile.. then stopped to take a break.. for a week.. was eating edibles.. and then smoking..

now I am barely smoking.. maybe a few times a day.. and now I'm sober most of the time.. I feel like I still cant get high. lol.. even if I take breaks..

do not go to oils lool. better off taking a tolerance break.. lol.. or growing some better weed because in reality. the oils just raise your tolerance especially if your dabbing..

stick to smoking and edibles lol. that's the way to roll..

I don't get tired of vaping. I get tired of vaping and not getting off. Inadvertently detox, smoking the tiniest buds from bottom of plant for a week. After that 3 hits and felt like first time I got high.

I would recommend stopping (or smoking something that tastes good, but old/no potency) for a week or so, a few times a year.

Just my opinion.

I smoke everyday, but not all day. Have been for years.
No real tolerance to speak of.. I'm not getting greened out but I am getting high AF!
I don't smoke a whole lot in a sitting either. You'd be surprised how high you were off that first hit if you wait a few minutes for it to hit you.

i enjoy smoking to get high. vaping is less than satisfactory but healthier, and edibles are not working.
COPD has me on the ropes gasping for air, coughing fits at times, with some chest pain...so i'm no stranger to wanting to 'quit'.
however badly i feel, a joint helps....go figure.

wife and i have resorted to decarbing bud, grinding to powder, and capping. she takes one and is good for half the day. i take four and barely feel it. (caveat: i eat half gram maintenance dose of oil daily).

still i get buzzed smoking, wtf?
