I was surprised actually with the floramite because it totally wiped them out for so long, I don't know how they could have recovered. I literally only found like 5 after looking for 20 minutes. There wasn't even any leaf damage I just felt the need to check. I picked a random bubba and turned a single leaf and saw one. Took me like 10 minutes to spot another.
Funny thing though is that these ones looked different from the others I've come across. I'm used to seeing the 2 spotted spider mite, which appear dark bodied but have off white/yellowish legs and head. These were solid off white/yellowish, and moved faster than I remember mites ever moving. Almost as fast as thrips, but they were definitely mites, had fat round bodies. These guys seemed more clever too. One of them went and hid in the crease between 2 leaf blades when I plucked the leaf off. I thought maybe they were just younger mites that hadn't developed their spots yet, but now I wonder if they maybe were different mites completely.
Either way, they'll be dead soon
