does anybody know if these hydrohut cabs are worth the cost? are there cheaper routes without sacrificing quality? i am in position where i have moved into another spot and cannot afford to build another extravagant room. i am seriously interested in this neat hydrohut. i want to run 2 1000 watt sunmasters in it. any advice? :jawdrop:

I use the HydroHut Mini for mothers and the HydroHut Deluxe for the bulk of the grows. Things are freakin awesome I love them. The HydroHut Deluxe is supposed to be twice as big as the Mini, but I think its larger than that.

Which one were you gonna get? Just an FYI the Deluxe is a serious pain in the ass to construct. Bring a friend.

Good Luck!!

Actually, it's the HH Original that's twice the size of the Mini. The Deluxe is twice the size of the Original. I just set my Original up today and I'm impressed. I'm going to have to modify it slightly, though to take 6" ducting because it's set up with 4". :joint:

not to sound like a prick, but you need to use the search option. no need to keep posting threads about something that there is already lots of info on. all of your questions could have been answered by reading through the "grow tents" thread.

How do you know he didnt? You posting crap like this is worse than him not using the search function. Your E-Peen is huge dude...good work

The search function here on ICMAG is not that great IMO.

Old information is often dated. New information is always coming out on things like the HydroHut.

So yes, you do sound like a prick.

And so......

I like my Hydrohut "mini". Well made and the minor problems are easily fixed with velcro, etc.

I have a 400W light and live in an apt. so the larger versions weren't going to work for me. I put my mini together in 30 minutes. And I can take it down in about the same time. VERY handy if you have to ditch a grow for security reasons. I can see where you might need help with a delux though.

I'd buy one again. Yes, the delux is a bit spendy, but building something that big is a pain in the ass IMO. I partitioned off part of a bedroom before I got my Hydrohut. It wasn't nearly as nice and was a pain.

Spend the money and buy a Hydrohut. You won't be sorry. BG Hydro had the best prices when I got mine. Don't buy off eBay. Shipping charges will kill you and you may get an OLD version of the HH. Buy from a reputable dealer like BG Hydro. I think shipping is actually free from BG Hydro on large items like the HH tents. They also put the Hydrohut box INSIDE another box so it was not apparent what was in the box.

wow! you are an ass... i only made a suggestion with no harm, no foul intended, but you decided to play the prick card anyways. yes things may be outdated, but look how many pages are in the "grow tents" thread. it keeps getting updated all the freakin time. all you need to do is type in "hydrohuts" in the search bar and can even narrow it down by finding titles of threads with the word hydrohut in it. also, you are wrong about ebay. before i bought my HH original, i did price shopping and found that ebay had the lowest prices with free shipping. BG does not offer free shipping because i already had my order form ready to go before i decided to support the local shop. now who is the prick? at least i don't go spreading around wrong info.

swampdank ~ you know there was no "prickness" intended. i was only trying to get you to use a helpful tool to find the answers you are looking for without having to overpost about the same topic over and over again.

ill agree w/ coopa here, there are already a zillion posts on these here.
there are full threads devoted to hydrohuts, everywhere here
if you put forth an effort into searching, instead of being overwhelmed when all the replies come up, it would be easier.
everything you seek is here already, how bad do you wanna find it?

Frank you're a good guy. But you and coopa are out of line.

If we are gonna apply the "logic" you suggest, then you guys will be busy hollering at 100's of people here who ask questions "that have been answered already".

And I'm not buying that line he used "not to sound like a prick". That's just code for people who want to "take a shot" at someone but not admit it.

And if I'm wrong about eBay(and I am not depending on the eBay seller) and wrong about BG Hydro, fine. I'm sorry. I paid no shipping, but maybe things changed.

The point is to shop around. Sometimes good deals can be found that aren't always advertised. etc.

i'm not singling anybody out here.
if i feel anybody posts w/out doing a thorough search, ill point it out.
no offense given or taken :)

I have to agree with Frank and Coopa here. I think they are just trying be be helpful. Repetitive questions clog the forums with threads...things that can easily be solved by using the search function. Try using the advanced search and search "hydrohut" by title only and three pages of info come up. Cobo's thread "Grow Tents" is the second thread (next to this one) on that list which has MANY pages of any info you'll ever need to know about them. When I first came here I didn't know how to use the advanced search/by title only and that has helped tremendously with filtering out info. Plus by using the search feature you learn plenty more along the way.

Edit: 4hydroponics has good prices on grow tents (homebox, hydrohuts), they ship stealth and also free shipping if your order is over $250.

So are you three guys going to go around and tell all the dozens, actually 100's of people who ask similar questions the same thing:

"Go use the search engine and look it up?"

You guys bored or something? You don't like Hydrohuts so pick on the questioners? Why not pick on everyone equally or leave everyone alone. If you don't like the thread or its question, then just ignore it. Who elected you guys "Thread Police"?

Of course some of the answers are out there, but then again, maybe not. And I will say again, the ICMAG so-called "search engine" is not a very good one. That's part of the problem. If ICMAG's search engine wasn't so frustrating to use, more people would use it and fewer would make posts like this one. You should complain to ICMAG, not beat up on people who may be "innocent" and just want information. Afterall, isn't that the purpose?

"Thread Hijackers" are as bad as "Thread police" I reckon. If you want to discuss this matter more, I think it would be better done in it's own thread.

Swampdank - I hope you found that grow tents link helpful :) I'm buying my second tent this week, so now I'll have my own flower and veg tents :D

It is a passive aggressive approach to being a prick. I agree 100% MT.

And for the rest of you guys that took it upon yourselves to appoint yourselves Forum Policy Police, I say leave your self-righteousness at the door. Clog up the forums? Are you serious? With what? Information?

Do you hear yourselves. Is there some Volunteer Forum Police Union that I dont know about? Does bullying forum posters give you some kind of E-Cred or something?

Sorry to the OP, didnt mean to hijack your thread.

alright, i want to clear things up. first off, some of you took my comment out of proportion. my intentions were never to be a hijacker of any sorts, nor direct any negativity towards anyone. no, i'm not forum police. when someone makes a suggestion, does not make them a prick. maybe you guys are the ones who are bored trying to make nothing into a big deal. a lot of members on here will point out when they feel that the search engine should have been used, not just me. also, who said i don't like hydrohuts? i've got one, but i found a lot of questions to my answers in Cobo's Grow tents thread. i won't take shots at anyone unless they take shots at me plain and simple. i find it hilarious how bored some of you are trying to stir shit up. if you apply that logic, you'd have churned lots of shit butter already. no need to pick sides because there shouldn't be any at all.

swampdank ~ my apologies go to you if you feel offended. if you could have heard my tone of voice as i was explaining to you my comment, you would have found that it would been in a helpful and respectable tone. whatever HH you go with, you will love it.

hydrohuts are nice... i have a kindergarden for moms and clones... you can always build a frame and cover with panda poly and a pond liner around the bottom... depends if you want to spend a bunch of time building something running back and forth to home depot or whatever of if you just want to pop open a box and put it together :joint:
