Anybody growing God's Gift?

This is definately one of my favorite non-kush strains out there right now. Absolutely beautiful buds that are almost neon purple in color. Excellent size and fluff to the nugs and don't even get me started on the taste and smell. Awesome fruitiness to it. Very unique.

The strain is a cross of OG Kush x Purple Urkle I believe. Not too many people have this one so I may be fishing here, but thought I'de try regardless.

A buddy of mine just got this strain and we were discussing how long we should let her go in flowering. If there are any other God's Gift growers out there let me know what you think about the strain. Plus' and Negatives would be great! Thanks!

I was under the impression that gods gift and mendo purps was the same strain.

yeah, i also was under the impression it was the same as mendo purps. i have heard that mendo purps has always been available in seed, but i dont know if i believe a seed company actually got a hold of these seeds. i have always just assumed that god's gift was an s1 or bx or something.

i picked up something called 'gods gift' last year and from what i got off of the small plant i grew (backyard crop was ripped) it was killer....candy/fruit sweet w/ rock hard buds that 'crunch' from the layer of trichs covering it (almost as extreme as arcata cut TW) i actually flowered out my mother in july, after the rip, bring it in to the dark every night.. little pinkish purple tint but not much (really hot july, remember?) and i was told its a 'green pheno'......the best way to describe it in my experience is its a heavier yielding, faster flowering version of 'purple cream'...i know this ISNT the case..just an honest description w/ a reference. so please dont cuss me out......yes i still got the cut, giving it a 1st time run indoors now

in my opinion the green pheno is a stronger high. th seeds now has the purps in seed form.

I believe I have Gods Gift. Got it at Doctors Orders in Sac, If i remember right off the top of my head. It's huge in veg now, 8 weeks, and going into flower. I grew out Purple Urkle recently so I can compare. I also grew out Purple Cream, although I lost the genetics to that one because of an accident.
I also have another Purple Urkle to try out this round, a different one from a club...the last one was from a friend. So 2 different purples this round, including Gods Gift, Purple Urkle, also a couple surprises yet to be announced.
Expect great pics and a smoke report in 2 months.

THSeeds God's Gift is Purps (Mendo?) x Afghani. From what i read of the description it's a simple cross, no bx'ing or whatever. If i recall correctly the real God's Gift is supposedly Killer Queen x Purps. I could be wrong tho..

After that high times article Everything purple became God's Gift for a minute...just like everything purple was The Purps after cannabible. Even when it was green as hell it was still The Purps...just the green version maaaaan!

There was a guy named NWGREENY from CW that did a grow on a cut he receieved that was called God's Gift. Looks nice. Sorta Urkle-ish but with chunkier calyxes than i've experienced with Urkle. Here's a pic of NWGREENY's plant:



I kinda have a few issues with the way THSeeds did their labeling but i may stil get a pack or two of the seeds

the cut i got is the same one that can be had at doctors orders and still not calling my cut the 'real deal' gods gift i can say that it looks to have a killer queen parent somewhere...i'll post pics tomorrow of a vegger and and 1 thats on day 16 of flower too
(EDIT........ the only CON i have about my cut is the internodal spacing is so tight that LST plants tend to over-generate and make a bit of popcorn bud...that was the case on the ONE small plant i did flower but my cuts now all show the same veg/flower structure........if thats even a CON..lol...i have Blockhead and OGbx F2 lined up next but i bet the GG is bad ass on a screen)

Lookin good trybud. Does it stretch a lot in flower? And does it have slow groth?

almost no stretch...and yeah it vegs pretty slow..still faster than purple creme and it grows up as compared to 'out'

Thanks for the info Trybud. The medclub Purple Kush/Ultraviolet is another slow vegger that seems to grow more up instead of out

Kushedout if your buddy got GG as a clone, you got any pics of it? Would love to see some pics of the plant in veg/flower. Recently got my hands on some Unknown purple clone that looks nothing like the purple's ive had (GDP, Urkle, Royal Purp) and i gotta do my research

Day 49 or so, stock cam pics cuz i dont know how to use it yet..they are purpling up quite a bit on the leaves underside and getting pinkish highlights on the calyxes....i stripped out the smaller plant for a friend of a friend (terminal patient) to make edibles because they cant smoke it and theres almost no trim left from outdoor 06...a bit leafy but covered in trichs (compares to my blockhead) this is only gonna be my 2nd harvest (1st indoor) of this strain...

They are the same plants...from Jan to now at various stages of growth

they are at week 6 flower now

18 gal DWC with a 400HPS. 3 Part GH with a 0-1-2 with 1 = 8ml per gallon.
Adding Calmag and such as needed.
