i used to be a marine so im very effective with my guns as well as using surrounding terrain to my advantage. the fact that your able to bottle neck possible enemies and you have home field advantage are huge bonuses. the one suggestion i have is that you rig up some form of silent alarm all around your land that way you know they're coming but they wont know youve been alerted and are waiting to put them down.be ready for attacks from all sides also have 2or3 ways of gettig out of there in case you come up against more than you can take out.

Good stuff man, I was EOD in the Air Force. I have a purple heart they say from a piece a shrapnel that tore up my left arm and leg. Got some serious man hours in Fallujah, Iraq and many parts of Afghanistan. Never saw one damn nuke though......go figure. Lots of oil though......go figure.

If I was to be over powered, or knew before hand I was up against some serious heat. I would retreat to my many fox holes and work under the cover of darkness with my suppressed mrk 12 SBR, eliminating threats one by one from 100-200 clicks until remaining survivors would be mentally terrorized they would jump ship.

You know for sure the access road would be rigged with a heavy amounts a tannerite which can rip apart unarmored cars like crushing a soda can. I suppose thats where I would need that silent alarm though, to let me know boogies are enroute.

2 tours Afghanistan 1 iraq , helmand was the worst anyways sounds like you got a good game plan and definitely go for the silent alarm and since you dugout fox holes dig out some punji pits in various spots

parris island

Used to do a lot of shrimping and fishing around Huntington Island state park and in the Colleton River. Used to love to hear the night time firing exercises. Beautiful in Beaufort but hot and muggy. The Chocolate Tree on Carteret Street makes some mean goodies!!

None you preppers will stand a chance when I come in marching with my army and take your canned goods:dance013:

the whole prepper thing is waste of time IMO. There is a guy on youtube who has been prepping since 1975 kinda of funny to me.

I guess as a hobby it does give people something to do with their time. I do like the idea of self-sustainability aspect of it though.

but like making booby traps and digging bunkers, patrolling your property in all your high speed gear is kinda ridiculous to me.

the only way to survive a scenario like this is to kill everyone who posses any level of threat.

or maybe it's the only way to survive is to cooperate with people who know stuff you don't? *shrug*

i've spent thirty years expanding my culture to sustain society without industry, living on the arcology, germinating exotic seeds, studying memetics, i don't know, learning shit, i'm like hey you ever smoke som--BLAMMO oh alright then i'll go see that other guy
