Any tricks/tips to speed up veg/flower times?

I would stick with the soil if I were you. Germing the seeds a little early will help you out. Then you should have about 2 weeks to veg and put them into flower.

would it not be easier to start with clones if available to you ...and is it even worth it 5 seeds... lil time... small yield... well i wish you good luck... the only way i know how to finish early is to pick them early thats how i look at it...try and get fast growing indica once again best of luck....

when you germinate seeds they dont require any light correct?

because maybe i can start it back home, and if it doesn't require any light i can drive it up in a cooler(no ice of course).

would this work? do you need light as soon as they break soil? i could always jury rig some light for hte car lol.

Hell yeah, rig an invereter to the car lighter and just do the whole thing in your car and then you can ride around with the windows down all the way, playing your radio as loud as it goes,while consecutively smoking blunts. Also, get a fake police light and put it on top of your car or at least just something extra bright that can be seen at long distances.


Seriously though, if you can grow up there then why not just start it when you go up there instead of driving around a bunch of weed sprouts? And what's the point of this thread if you can grow up there anyway?

I recall reading that the plant senses days by the number of dark periods only, meaning that you could do something like (for example) 6/12 to cut the flowering time by 25% theorhetically. Of course you'll lose out big on yield, but ...

yes u did, i have a short time span. Jan 17th to March 31, which is like 70 days.

and i know it takes a few days to germinate, and a few days to sprout, so iw anna do as much as i can b4 i put them into light.

no need for the cocky remark.

if they dont need any light before they sprout i can start in back home and then transport it up to school, which would cut a few days off.

OK...I just want to clear up that 18/6 is purely for vegetative growth. The only reason that it is not 24 is because plants during the vegetative cycle can not use more than 18 hours of high output levels of lumens (8000+ per sq ft.). Everything that has been said about clones and early flowering of indicas is true. However, these are not instant recipes for quick success. My first word of advice is that if you have to rush it, don't touch it. In your case 80-90 days is not a far stretch indoors. My best advice is to look into autoflowering strains. Although I suspect the breeders have crossed shorter indica strains with ruderalis mini-bush strains, they go straight to flowering and are said to have a seed to harvest time of 2-2 1/2 months. If not, find somebody who grows and throw them some money (or green) for some cuttings and do the clone thing.
