was reading on the history of the becaa (beqaa) valley and surprised there aren't any varieties easily found in internet searches.
one of the bread baskets of the middle eastern hash trades and I'm wondering if there are any known or available sources for varieties originating in the becaa valley region.

anyone?

I had some in 2009 and was too stupid to make seeds with them. :wallbash:

Aka. RSC Lebanese (sold out now)

Here's the ones I grew and made famous.

I even made some Hashish then.

Cool pics. Looks a lot like the supposed leb Igrew.
Looking at those few pics I'm fairly convinced mine were legit.
How were the smells on your plants?

I had 2 females from 6 seeds and the bushier plant smelled like bubblegum while the pole plant smelled of cat piss while growing and has cured into a pissy skunky citrusy smells. Lemonene being easily tasted on the inhale.

They got hit by their only brother that didn't autoflower. Link at top of post.

I almost forgot...
It was mentioned recently that those seds were procured from the Becca Valley too.

ya, cool stuff. What got me interested was a recent documentary I watched that featured the long history of guns and hashish in the beqaa valley. Apparently in recent years things had improved and the folks were getting back to rebuilding the hash trade and then the Syrian conflict started and the beqaa has been flooded with migrants fleeing the war zone.
got me wondering about finding genetics from that pocket of the world.

Pretty pointless asking about seeds from there after the Israeli airforce bombed the fuck out of the place, then burned anything remaining during their invasion

Nice looking plants Mr d.
I found the lebanese do not have good spider mite resistance. Had an outbreak on my current run in my grow tent. The lebanese definetely took it the hardest. They made it to finish but I had to spray the heck out of them as they were getting eaten up quick.

Real seed company just made f2's of the Lebanese seeds available. I have never grown before but 50$ for 12 unbred land race seeds seem pricey.

I guess it depends on the amount of work they went through to make the F2s.
Were they selected or open pollinated?
How many plants were used to make the F2?
If RSC selected to remove undesirable plants before an OP then the price may be set to reflect that.
