any kiss users have exp. with veg+bloom

FWIW, been using V+B for a month now, doing a side by side with my modified 6/9 Formula. Both plants look good, but my GH plants grew faster and have more vegetation. I have 4 SSSDH clones...2 are in veg and 2 are at day 18 flower. Bud formation is similar at this early stage, but my GH plant has more sites. Will continue experiment, but I think I will be sticking with my formula.

I like th ease of V+B, and maybe I will try upping EC? But right now it is at 1.6EC, the same as my formula. Plants look great, just not as much growth. Maybe the V+B will surprise me in the end?

First harvest using Veg+Bloom. It was def simple. We did a multi strain and 1 strain in particular stayed very light yellow the whole time. It was a God Bud. Maybe it wanted to eat heavier.

This was one of the frostiest strains. Yield was good but we did use Bux XL from House n Garden as well as a bit of MOAB at week 5

Watch for mold, those buds look like you might have some by the coloring. Look for bud rot

seems like the general consensus with V+B is that it produces some great quality buds, just not the quantity. I am using it now in Veg but nearly all plants I've seen in flower using V+B are not really showing tights nodes. Anyone have different pics of more indica dominant strains on this stuff?

I've noticed with this stuff that i get nearly twice the stretch as i normally would with other nutes . i've had a couple runs get away from me cuz they stretched so much .
"just not the quantity " I can't say that at all !!! quality is defenatly better .... but so are my yields .... by alot !!!

My yields have improved coming from maxi and ease of use knocks it out the park, just my experience. Quality is all there as well. Peace

quantity and quality over here bruh. I think it's more about knowing your strains potential and not over doing it. keeping it simple. I pulled about a GPW off this table and every nug was ping pong sticky icky.

It is early on my flowering SSSDH side by side...day 20. I added a couple pl-l lights to my LED tent, just those 2 clones in a 3x3 tent. The V+B clone has less bud sites, but in the past couple of days the buds appear bigger than my 6/9 formula. They both look great, I hope the V+B keeps ahead in weight...since there is less sites.

I am impressed with V+B, and would switch if it does comparable to my normal nutes. It is very early, and pretty close. SSSDH goes 11+ weeks, long time to go!

Just the taste of the buds alone will make ya switch . i used 6/9 and protekt & my buds were bland as hell ... everytime !!even tried molasses with it ... didn't help !

That's what i was hoping to see Net, thanks. Im still running it but wasn't sure if i was gonna switch in flower, think i'll try and do 1 run all the way through and see how it compares to my H&G and Lucas runs..

My buds have no such thing. That grew exactly how that strain is supposed to grow only smaller than usualy because they got too wet for week 4-5 and didn't dry out for 10 days. It really stunted them.

That being said the buds were rock hard using Veg+Bloom at 900ppm and With a PK spike of MOAB.

My stuff is not bland, but I know others who is. I will stick with the side by side. I hope you are right....I will switch if it is better. I am using V+B at 1.6EC right now, with some drip clean. I use 1 Gal smart pots, but feed multiple times per day. I like smaller pots, they flush better, better flavor.

I am excited to see the plants in a week or two, they are just budding good. Taking them 11 weeks, when should I taper down?

Hmmm didn't dry out for 10 days...don't take offense, they could have gotten effected by that in more than 1 way. I was just trying to help, cause your pic looks like it could develope mold IMO. maybe it is just the lighting.

yield is strain dependent. with veg bloom, yield is yield. but what EC is right, depends.

currently i am 2 weeks out from finishing 6 plants.

i have both a dj short cocoa kush and a rezdog alpha diesel. they are both in 3L airpots. they both get 1.1EC of vegbloom. the diesel is STACKED - the dj short is not.

the fact that i am growing both a super sensitive dj short strain AND a super cal-mag hog sour diesel from rezdog with the exact same nutrients is amazing. AMAZING.

you know whats more amazing? i just pulled off my first cannabiogen - peyote purple with NO CLAWING, no over fertilizing. i have yet to see someone grow peyote purple in hydro and not make her claw up. but you know what? the PP yields less than the cocoa kush and the alpha puts out more than both of them combined. same tent, same pots, same nutes. cocoa kush is harder to grow than peyote purple, alpha diesel doesnt need as much as you think as long as you have a solid ratio(which shows how rare a thing that is).

the reason Head used 6/9 was because he didnt want to buy the 3rd part... well the first part really... GH Flora Grow

Totally wrong my friend. H3ad, Rez, Lucas,, etc. did not and do not use GH Flora Grow because it is not needed. There is enough N in the mix without it. And of course yield is strain dependent, common sense. I hve NEVER had a strain that did not do well with my 6/9 mmodified recipe. But I am looking forward to my first V+B harvest.

if 6/9 is so solid why are you modifying it?

the point of the lucas formula is least amount of product to buy. period. the question lucas asked was "whats the least i can get away with" which is GH Flora Micro and Bloom. so lucas used 8/16 in rockwool. for commerical purposes.

head used lucas formula. head was switching from promix to coco and noticed "this shit doesnt work right" and instead of upping shit "because of deficiencies" he lowered shit, because soil science. this was also to avoid buying GH Flora Grow because he had gallons of micro and bloom already. if you dig deep enough and read again(or maybe not, edits and stuff) they talked about this.

head was using lucas, and lucas was looking at '100-100-200 NPK standard'

i have not gone over 50ppm P and have my best plants yet. im not talking about 'enough' N, im talking about P and K. 'enough n' is a concern of someone trying to cut corners.

so, ill stick to, ya, head used 6/9 because he didnt want to buy the 3rd part, because he was already on the lucas formula, which trys to use the least amount of 'parts' as possible per the NPK ratios from old cannabis grow guides.

but head and rez are gone. head might be around again who knows. probably not rez tho.

I use RO water, so I use Magi-Cal. Protekt Silica instead of pH up. Drip Clean, because I use Blumats sometimes. I get 8+ oz per plant in 1gal Smart Pots. I am a very busy person, if a 1 part nute can compare to my current mix, why not switch? I am dialed in,, so why not try a free sample? A good grower is not affraid to experiiment.

I used VB my first run in COCO and it was great but I was a rookie to growing in coco and didnt understand the cec components to coco.

I switched to 5ml/gal protekt, 6ml Micro, 9ml Bloom, 1g Epsom, and 1ml drip clean per gallon and never had healthier looking plants, were talking 50+ plants all from seed about 7 or 8 different strains.

I like VB but cant get it locally. Try it out, it works just like everyother nutrient on the market lmao
