I'm having an issue with some strains yellowing too early in flower. Gg4, gelato, etc... Is it the N ?

are you in soil? If so feed heavier going into bloom and through first couple waterings with v+b then back off. Example i use to do would be 800ppm going into bloom through 21 days of bloom then back off to 600ppm.

Another option which im doing now is run Megacrop in veg, its better then V+B in veg. Then switch over to V+B on day 1 of bloom.

I'm running rockwool chunks maxing at 1.2ec week 2. I was having problems where my pH was falling which I'm guessing is due to the plants taking in more water than feed? I'm ebb and flow so maybe salt build up at bottom?

1 gram per gallon. I got a much better yield and bigger, denser buds once I dropped it.

Did you do a side-by-side experiment? It's virtually impossible to tease apart what is causing your results without one. Would your plants have looked the same without that pinch of Life? Nobody knows.

another thing I did different was not using veg and bloom, these were fed megacrop, but they dont say anything about root protect-ants or microbes. Ive never had roots look this good though, maybe it was the blue cups! haha those are new as well.

Yes some of the mag hungry plants will need epsome.... That works fine

thanks for the response. i have been taking my water to 150ppm with calmag before adding the v+b, but i think i am going to switch to epsom as i believe there is plenty of cal in the 1 part already.

do you have a set amount you add, aspen?

No not really.... Depends on the plants needs and they will respond.... My res is straight v+b to and I spoon feed any and all additives separately....

Try Mega Crop. maybe. I got their free sample and made the switch from V+B pretty quick. I think I still have some RO/Soft sitting around because I still have loads of MC to "try out". I really like the stuff.

I found out that my local hydro store is now stocking them so I don't have to worry about shipping. Otherwise, the last time I bought I had a 10% coupon code which essentially made shipping free...

thanks guys. i got the sample of megacrop and a friend is using it currently. his plants look great about 3 weeks into flower.
one thing i'll say about the MC is that it stinks!
i managed to get a hold of the guy who owns the only canadian stores that import v+b and he was able to tack my order onto the one he happened to be doing the day after i emailed him. that will remove the shipping and import charges, making it perfectly reasonable in the price range. i will probably make one big purchase after this next run so i am good for a couple years.
