Yeah people these days want everything for free....

There are lots of highly educated computer engineers and video game graphics designers who all wrnt to school for many years to work for free and make video games annd not make any money.

We used to buy games before we tried them. And you couldnt uninstall it. Or return it. Now we cant spend 5 dollas without crying

aren't these games just a con job for players to buy into levels they can't earn based on their own skills? after all they advertise constantly on TV, and so where do you think that kind of money comes from? players are compelled to keep up with their teammates and others.

It's not so much of buying to make up for lack of skill but rather to get ahead quicker then to do it for free. See the gimmick is selling it as a free game but then slow it down drastically buy making it take days to upgrade to the next level and have access to something you want. People for the most part these days have very little patience. Society has become too comfortable with instant gratification.

I know game developers have to make money,I myself have brought some games. The walking dead mobile game cost me like £15 to buy the full game and same for the season 2 game also. But that 15 quid is all I ever had to pay to play. These games like candy crush and c.o.c just keep milking people, well the ones who let it anyway. Like I said I enjoyed playing it once upon a time,I got to th9 without spending a penny but I just got bored of it. My mate who was leader of the clan I was in would always be moaning about how much money he had spent on the game. He would buy them £70 packs of gems all the time,I thought it was crazy.

Key to clans is not upgrading townhall till everything else is upgraded. And you crush your opponents... no fun losing all the time haha

Capitalism at it's finest unfortunately. I miss the old days when you bought a game at whatever it's price was and then that's it. Now it's all online playing at a certain monthly fee or free games that are free so slowly but allow you to buy your way to advancement that you're tempted to get to a point where it seems more interesting.

Yeah I tried a free game called Age of Empires - Castle siege and it's the same way. If you build up your castle without advancing everything else to an equal level you won't do so good and there are so many interrelated componants that it would cost a fortune to pay your way to the higher levels for everything. Therefore like I said before it's best to focus on upgrading those things that produce resources. Like in the game I'm talking about you have farms that produce food, woodmills that produce lumber and quaries that produce stone. You also have trade routes that will produce a very small amount of gold, so you also have a gold resource. When you pay to advance you essentially buy various amounts of gold coins. You can buy anything with gold but you can also buy advancements with various amounts of food, lumber or stone or in some cases a combination of resources. Unfortunately there are quite a few that have bought their way to the higher levels so you really don't stand a chance attacking their castles unless you're on an equal level with them.

Yeah I had that same problem with the Grand Theft Auto series of games. I'd get to playing and would think just a couple of hours has passed by only to look up and find it was more like four or six hours.

yeah i played this for a bit a couple of years ago when it first came out, the gameplay is addictive but i quit when it become clear that i would need to put money in(or wait days and days and days between turns) to get anywhere.

"pay to win" gaming sucks these days.

Sometimes time wasters r what people need. Tbh this game got me thru some tough times in my life. Instead of mentally killin myself over life details i can lose myself in a game and relax for once. Takes my mind off things that depress me. Plus the game is actually fun..
