Good stuff, looks a lot like the old hashplant I remember. There is the Bubba influence, the hairs are lighter colored but the structure is almost the same.
Ten years ago everyone had the quick finishing Indica hashplant with the thick dense top. Guys were harvesting it outside in mid August sometimes. It's gotten harder and harder to find. The plant limits mean everyone is breeding for yield. So pure Indicas have become rare, they're almost always hybridized to some degree.
Even yours that look very Indica to me has the small Skunk #1 influence. Hard to get away from.
Hello Dubi, congratulations for your 10 years of serious breeding.
I wanted to ask you something about the bubba kush x hasplant: you have already tested the content of CBD in the laboratory? interests me very much knowing it because I read that it has good medicinal properties, including the treatment of anxiety and interests me very much this aspect. I'm looking for a variety to help me relieve anxiety and hope that this is the ideal.
Bubba Kush x HashPlant hybrid has great properties against anxiety and insomnia, based on my personal experience and from my closest circle that have tried it.
China Yunnan is also interesting in that regard and have shown moderate CBD amounts in previous lab testings.
We are planning to do a sinsemilla cycle of all our parental plants in the second half of the year to bring them to analyze, can't wait! Right now we are all working only in seed production.
A couple close ups of the straight Bubba Kush Katsu clone that we used for the Bubba Kush x Hashplant and Fatty Bubba hybrids. Finished in just 7 weeks of 12/12.
Performs quite well also under hot temperatured, but needs good ventilation and some leaf prunning in the middle of the plant to increase the light and air penetration.
The straight Bubba is without any doubt a great classic afghani hashplant expression, like an improved Deep Chunk, but I still prefer very much the selected Bubba Kush x HashPlant female 64 over the straight Bubba Kush clone: it's much better yielding, vigorous, and still keeps that lovely hashy aroma and pleasant Bubba effect.
In the above picture they are about 4 weeks into flower
I vegged them for 6 weeks. They hit 1.3 meters and then I LST'd the top quarter.
I'll take a closer sniff later today, but I have them next to a GT and a Kali China right now so the bouquet is a bit mixed!
Here's a picture taken June 26. The Golden tiger is on the left, Kali China in the middle and the Bubba Hash is on the right. She was about 3 feet tall in this picture. Note she isn't flowering yet.
I am really lucky. The missus had some chest pains a couple of weeks back. She had emergency heart surgery and is doing great. My plants were pretty neglected but it looks like finished up enough even though my lack of care let a small spot of mold develop on one bud. I am cutting them tonight and getting them some good drying conditions.
The quick-dried sample has hints of coffee and hashish. Nice resin coverage and very heavy buds.
Yes, it looks like a VERY nice plant.
I have two of them packing strong, white pistils now.Looks really promising.
Very sturdy, very compact, tight growing habit.Good branching, lots of fluffy flowers.
Taking pictures in future, when flowering progresses.
Strong recommendation for any grower.
