"Handsome Fancy" makes great smelling beard oil. And they send free samples to pass out. Awesome people as well. I highly recommend if you keep up with the maintenance on your beard. Good day everyone.

How long or how far does it go? I was thinking about trying jojoba. Longer beards definitely require some care and regular grooming.

I've been rockin the beard this month for the first time in years. I swear this thing has magical powers. Have been hit on multiple times in the last couple weeks haha. I will enjoy it for another month or so and then shave it off.

I've had a 'stache since I was 16-17. I've shaved it off exactly twice and I'm 52. I have a nasty scar on my upper lip so I feel self conscious about it and the 'stache keeps me from having to explain the scar.

The beard varies depending on a whim mostly. I let it grow out, trim it down to a goatee, then maybe a Fu Manchu. I can get a gnarly neck beard going if I get lazy.

After letting it all grow out kinda wild, I shaved my neck and got a little... creative. I shaved my chin but left a long soul patch and waited to see what the wife said. Took her about two days to notice because I was working the night shift. She was like "what is with that thing on your chin?" I told her I was going to let grow out and put rubber bands around it. I thought she was gonna stroke out.

Back to a full beard again, mostly because I just hate scraping my face

I have a beauty mark under my stash ..used to get teased as a kid..so I grew a stash and haven't shaved it off ever.. my beard attempts leave something to be desired..it don't fill in well on the sides..so I stick with a goatee tapering to a point....yeehaw..ha ha I am thinking of splitting it in 2 and putting rubber bands on each..well till they are formed well anyhow....no old lady to complain right now..i don't shave I use my wahl trimmer..haven't used a blade in like 10 years and don't miss them..i need some oil as I been using bow wax

Just let it go. Resist the urge to sculpt(maybe once or twice a year so you don't look like a hobo). Cannabis and hard cider seem to make mine grow like a weed!

Full Beard ...

Full Beard ...

I have a trimmer "3/8's of an inch" which I run over my beard when it gets overgrown. Only takes a minute.

I sometimes trim my neck to look like Abe Lincoln.

Beats shaving every day:party:

Always tempted to grow my moustache into my chin and let it go Viking.

But as those farkin hipsters have ruined everything about facial hair for the past few years and more to come, I second guess everything beard related.

All I can say is that if you can't grow a short full beard, you can't grow a long full beard, so please don't try because you'll look ridiculous.

Please don't become yet another obnoxious "lumbersexual" because it's the cool thing to do. I had to earn my beard by losing all of the hair on my head first. I keep it trimmed weekly to a #8 and shave my head every other day, but I would look like an absolute asshole if I started growing this shit out.

I haven't had a beard since I was about 30...

It's funny to me, to see men nowadays with full beards, while wearing $2000 suits....It just doesn't register.. must be the generation gap...

Your gonna be shit out of luck if genetically you grow patchy facial here. Can't do anything about that stuff sadly ahahahahha. I'm young and have the full blown beard of a sailor. Comes naturally.

Bastard.

I've enough Cree blood in me to keep the body hair away, couldn't grow a moustache until I was twenty or a beard until 25ish. Even now the cheeks are patchy and usually shaved.

I'm 25 and have shaved once in my life with a razor (for my sisters wedding) and I've shaved with the hair clippers (number 0) any other time required. I usually go about 2 year intervals without shaving me beard off. My mustache needs extreme maintenance often hahahaha

Haha must be, in my family the beard has skipped my dad, he grows mainly a goatee, whereist I follow after my grandfather. He rocked the full face, down the neck sailors bed. I'm blessed to grow one very easily. Suits the part with all the running around in the bush hahaha
