Hello. I'm looking for a line with the most potent, anti-depressant effects to help someone suffering from depression. So I'm on a quest.. to find the most potent line I can which doesn't cause anxiety or paranoia. So far I'm thinking greek kalamata red or highland oaxacan. There's also plenty available from Ace like caledonia and different thai lines. Looking for help in making a selection from what's out there. Thanks

My home group will be hopefully flowering out New Caledonia this year. I hope it brings a bright up and positive effect. Good luck in your search.

Zamal Bliss from ACE should be very good i read but its discontinued at the source. Some retailers might still stock it. Congo from ACE should be good aswell.
From my personal experience stronger isnt always better. Maybe the person youre talking about should give microdosing a try, also vaping at low temps brings out helpful effects.
Depressions suck... good luck and have fun.

Try reading "Feeling Good" by David D Burns! $10 book worth its weight in GOLD, read it and you will never be depressed again and any weed you smoke will be the best. 😎

the best thing you can do to help someone who´s suffering from a real depression (clinical or not) is not weed but Maca root powder.
And yes, this is based on my own personal experience. Depression will be gone before you know it!

Cuddles did you increase your maca dose to get the same effects?

when the first bottle arrived, I only took one cap ( 500 mg) in order to see whether or not I might have an allergic reaction but I didn´t and I could tell a difference whithin a couple of hours , or even shorter I´m not too sure.
When I woke up the following morning I was feeling waaay better. I increased to 1000 mg and I just got better and better! :)
Honestly, maca works like a charm and is the best stuff you can take in order to fix your hormones :)

Is he having a hard time finding an anti depressant that works properly for him? Like works for the first 2 weeks and then makes him just feel more depressed?

How much Maca did you use?

I tried 1 tsp. 50/50 Maca/Cocoa daily for a couple weeks and no real benefit. Active ingredient is TMG I believe but natural is always best.

As others have mentioned I usually find the milder ones to be more euphoric/anti-depressing.

I did try one local Sativa that was extermely euphoric, very clear and mild. High only lasted around 30min with no comedown. Would love to have seeds of that one.

only 1000 mg maca per day . these days I only have maca powder rather than capsules because it´s way cheaper to purchase, and I take 1 teaspoon, sometimes heaped more sometimes a little less heaped. I mix it with wheatgrass powder. both taste awful , lol :D

weed or other stuff such as tryptophan only treat the symptoms for a short time. Maca on the other hand sorts out the actual cause which is: your hormones are out of balance.

Hey. Not sure. Personally I dont think anti depressants are that helpful.

They aren't from my point of view either, St John's wart helped me the most and I still take it from time to time when I can tell my serotonin is dropping a bit, lifestyle choices make up the biggest difference but a person needs to be in a good mindset to make those changes if needed.

yes, exactly.

i used to be in a really bad place, depression mixed with anxiety, i was spiralling downwards... no way i could enjoy smoking any kind of weed. went to see a therapist, didnt really cut it for me, i was not able to make a change. then i went to see a psychiatrist, he said lets try an anti depressant, and it helped me quite a lot to find a possibility to take a break from the bad times. so i could focus to find a solution, make a change in my life and get back on track for real. but it wasnt an easy lesson, eventually i had to take the anti depressants for a second time. i used to give myself a hard time quite often, still do once in a while but i am more aware of it now. so when shit gets real nowadays i can pull the brake on time and chill for a while.

luckily i didnt have significant side effects from the pills. just a bit restless from time to time. also when low on serotonin performance in bed can be on the low end, when taking the anti depressants i could bang all night haha:D.
just dont mix them with alcohol on the regular, they lifted my mood way too high. ;)
happy to not have to take them anymore.

hope your friend will get better soon.

Ordered some maca root powder, wish me luck. I do not like smoking everyday to feel ok, also it makes the high duller with tolerance. Need to find something else.

I think I was taking the same ones😅 literally had a cocaine type effect on me with ALC but I got used to them too quickly so started taking more.... My brain is an asshole and it likes to party

In the end I went through 4 different types of anti depressants and non of them gave me the outcome I was hoping for so I stopped, waited for my brains chemistry to return back to normal and then tried the St John's wart, took me a while to figure out I didn't need to take it daily and I can now medicate myself by just being more aware of my current state of mind.
