Another stupid newbie question about Co2

Hi! (*Yes, I would like that!) LOL

Ok, so I'm doing my own indoor/soil/400W/vert/Main-line grow and I do realize the major importance of CO2. Yes, I am aware it's naturally in the atmosphere.

I have read a ton on ICM, and I'm sure I will totally learn more over the years. While I realize I'm not just pop'n seeds and letting them rip, the main-line, vert and first indoor will present plenty of newbie challenges.

Ok to the question. I have a carbo and use to brew my own beer and I also have a CO2 tank that is full (maybe a 10lber) that I am looking at getting a CO2 regular for.

I read that the milwake one w bubble flow meter is too slow. (old thread I searched). And a faster flow meter would be needed for 20 to 30 bucks.

Here is my question, will this one for Argon/Co2? I don't see an "electric" silnoid that you usually plug in. I can get a

Maybe I need some advice here. I can pick up the $10 milwalkee one (used) and add the argon regulator, but not sure if thats right.

Thanks for the input!

No takers on this eh? Lol I don't blame yah. So I'm gonna just talk to myself. :)

I actually picked up a cheap Chinese JLJ Co2 reg. see below.

In another thread someone said an aquarium Co2 reg won't put out enough, while someone in another thread says its fine. Granted my room is small, a 8x3x10 feet, but I'm just going to manifold off this w a glove and small hose to the base of my plants.

I'm still pretty far out from using it, a couple of months, but I like to plan lol

Will your flowering area be completely sealed with no outside air exchange?

I can seal the room. It's only the door, otherwise it's sealed floor to ceiling. Tall closet.

I am pretty sure I can get a good door threshold to drag closed the 2 inch gap at bottom, my old fresh air intake idea. Not sure how air tight, but I was planning on minimum turning the exit exhaust down, to slow the draw out and keep temps ok " I hope"... W the ceiling high, will the CO2 be heavier than air and tend to be concentrated down? Just a thought, I need to read up more. I will hose it to the base of the plants for sure.

Yes new, I was planning on a Co2 meter as well. I guess a co2 alarm won't work lol

There is such as thing as TOO much. Go with the Milwaukee w/ faster flow meter. Note the difference....note taking essential on doing things differently or trying to increase yield, CO2 etc.

im a first time grower and i also understand the importance of co2 , but dont quite have the dough to get a tank nor do i have the $$ to refill it every couple of weeks .

I came across this home-made co2 method that iS extremly cost-effective

all it takes is 2 liter bottles , sugar , yeast , water , a drill and rubber tubing .

I was actually really shocked by the results i got from the simple technique , but im absolutely thrilled with it .

My babies are only 3 weeks and i know eventually i will need to produce more co2 , but as of right now this method is deff doing it justice .
I think i will be able to keep doing it this way for atleast another 4-5 weeks be4 having to produce higher levels .
All i really have to do is add more sugar and yeast every 4-6 days and its gravy .
Been working like a charm .

im gonna attempt to post A pic hope everyone can see it
