Another soil pH question

Spring water has a pH of 7. So does tap water although using that would be stupid. Water filtered through a brita has a pH of 6. That is what has got me wondering, what is the significance of this? Is Brita water better for my garden than bottled spring water?

Peace,

why is tap water stupid?

I use tap water only. I let it sit open for 24 hours or so, the chlorine, burns off, my ph is optimal

How would the Brita drop your ph, i dont recall that being anything more than something that removes solids from the water. And after a visit to their website they make no claims of adjusting water ph. That is something that needs to be measured out and adjusted manually, or by something that it is made for

i was soon to buy a RO unit but funds ran low recently.. ive heard of the letting tap sit out for 24 hours but where do you keep it?? i'd be worried of air-borne contaminents... especially if using an ionizer in the vicinity

RO water PH don't matter. Add micros or/and nutes and measure then. The harder your tap water the more its PH matters. Cheers

Hey Dr. Dog, stop with making sense. Does not compute!
