looks like gregoire is gonna have a press conference re: her veto of the bill tomorrow, friday at 2:30pm.

khol-welles has said she is preparing a second bill, to submit during the special session.

Ya well I wish she would get her ass doing something. Dispensaries are getting busted in Spokane. I hope Senator Khols can get this thing fixed in special session to protect patients. Nothing happening on the Seattle side.

SPOKANE -- Federal agents raided several medical marijuana dispensaries across
Spokane. Among the dispensaries raided included the THC Pharmacy and Club Compassion.

DEA agents did not arrest the owner of Club Compassion. But she said she does not know what will happen to her. She said she did not have more than the legal amount of marijuana. But agents took all of the medicine she had including patient files.

Protesters gathered outside the THC Pharmacy on Spokane's South Hill while federal agents executed a search warrant inside. The raids started Thursday afternoon while several medical marijuana dispensary owners were meeting for a conference about how to survive a raid.

Washington State voters approved the use of medical marijuana in 2008. But the law does not specifically allow for medical marijuana sales.

Federal agents did not comment on how many dispensaries they raided on Thursday or if they made any arrests.
