Ease of Growth: 6 (picky and sensitive takes very long)
Taste:10 (doesn't get much better than this, sour/spice/lemon/fuel VERY smooth)
Potency: 7 (hits you hard and strong... for about an hour at most)
Smell:9 (has a .5 mile radius)
Bag Appeal: 8.5 (very nice buds, nice color, not the 'crystaliness' though)
Ceiling?: Yes, easily achieved
Overall: 7.5-8 : decent morning herb with BOMB taste, it is potent but lacks the length... high comes down quick.
Yea I know its been done a million times before, but I am smoking this right now as my first time ever...(not right now but the general run with it) and it has been curing for a little more 3 weeks...which I realize some things will improve with a little more curing, it was harvested at day 81. Before I get started please note I am a die-hard indica lover and this whole satavia thing is fairly new to me.
In any case I find and conclude that the ecsd as well as rez's sd ibl are along the same high with the exception of rezs being a little more racy, and has a much harder 'come down' for me. Very very social high, I feel like I just want to say everything and am interested in anything for the first 30 minutes up to the peak...
After that I zone out and suddenly lose interest in focusing so much...leaves you thinking a lot with blank 'wake up' spots in between... you'll go in and out a couple times before you realize you are coming down... at which point you can be ready for more because the sour diesel does not leave you burned out and the high only lasts about 1.5-2 of hours to completely com down, and not even solid hours at that....
All in all I personally would not go with this strain. As I said I just keep going back to the couch lock indicas. Don't get me wrong I love the 'socialness' and the lack of burnout but the high just lacks and 'penetration', its as if it gets me a little 'doozy', where I would rather be incapacitated
, and the long flowering times just don't justify the nice yet, short-felt high. This strain's two top qualities are simply bag appeal/smell and taste.... not much more IMO...
All my friends LOVED it though, SD ibl I found has a much more smoother smoke than the ecsd which they loved, and it is a TO DIE FOR wake and bake herb I will keep it around for that, its taste and nice high is perfect for mornings with a yucky mouth and clouded mind. Anyways, here are some shots and a brief pic of the second bowl I packed for the report.
