When peeps exhale they get that little smile right after like "wow that was
gooood!" It's fun to do specific strains and get the unique flavors but mostly
with the trim I just throw it all together for time & space savings. Thanks 4

if it'll work.
RooR HeaD, it was time consuming till I quit using the card and started pushing
around the screen with the palm of my hand. Cuts about 90% of the time off
the process. Can do a 1/4 lb brick in about an hour. Thats not too bad is it?
Wonder how long it would take to make the same thing with bags?

it. Got a Couple ques. if u come back ZOG. I don't get any disernable plant
matter in mine but it seems to be a concern to some peeps, how was the
plant matter in yours? You see any? What was the TPI of the screen you
used? Really glad u liked NS
cheeseduck20, the polyester screen is 120 tpi (threads per inch).
master shake, I was also surprised at the 4:1 ratio, would of thought it would
be more like 8 or 10 to 1 but I can't argue with the scale. I'll check that again
over the next couple runs and saee if it holds.

sagaseedman, I think it would thaw as u worked it. I couldn't poss stay frozen,
but u could try doing it in a walk in freezer. We all have one of those, right?

D Rock, I do a run about every 3 months. I think the leaves can keep quite
awhile. After they dry I crush them with my hands and chuck them in the sack
in my drying room which stays cool & dark. If u froze them u could keep them
longer. You could do as small amount as you wanted with this method. Even
a gram of crushed leaf would give up its trichs. Thanks for stoppin by D, NS

monkey's. Nice thread, entertaining! My Chinese lunar symbol is the Fire
Monkey. Thought about using it as my handle. Didn't know I was combining
methods. Seems to work pretty good though. I've thought about BHO'ing the
leftovers to see what I left behind. Future project. Take care.

hey nugget shiner this is old tokers son..... my pops is in reno right now but im heading up the rooms. anyway thats a nice sized box you have, i have a dry box i got mine at the head shop. it looks like you made yours? they have some that size with 2 screens but they want nearely 300 dollers for it, i mean its quite nice with alot of work put into it but still seems damn steep?
you got a beautiful yield on that one man. i use magic the gathering cards ever heard of it? i think its made by the same company that makes pokemon, wizards of the coast.... yes defantly faster by hand for sure... i used to use a card and it makes a small run like 2 ounces of leaf take hours....

would ask that. Was one of my major probs in the beginning. Thought I was
gonna have to build some kind of press. Even tried a few things with "c" clamps
and stuff, ha ha ha. For smaller runs I make a paper envelope out of paper
that has a wax coating on one side. While I was buliding my weird contraptions
and carrying the kief in my pocket I found that body heat was enough to allow
the kief to stick together. When I would take it out to compress it it was
already good so I gave up on presses and just compress it into a package and
carry it around. For larger runs I've been using the "grind your own coffee bags".
They work great. Make sure the coffee's out or pick up an extra at the store.
Don't forget it's there and go into public, lol, little puffs of aroma come out. I
thought I was being followed by an invisible ganja gnome one day till I remebered
what was in my pocket, lol. The 1/4 lb. brick makes quite a lump so I stick that
down the front of my pants and then go public, ha ha ha, stoned and posting
AGAIN! Not really for u gullible folks.
It's really very easy and once its at room temp its strong enough to cut with
a knife or break chunks off. Thanks for the question. Take care.

I don't actually have a box. My screen is about 12 in. x 18 in. I use a piece of
plexiglass on a table, a couple of 2"x4"x12" boards to hold the screen off the
plexi and go to work. All breaks down to innocuous objects, lol.
Yea, those boxes are spendy but they are high quality. At Craftworld they sell
wood project boxes similar to cigar boxes in all sizes. Not super high quality,
but great for a project like this and the price is right. A person could build a
real nice kief box in the $25 to $35 range pretty easy.
Never played "Magic" but I know where of u speak. Man, some of those orig
Magic cards are pretty valuable. I used to collect Pokemon with my kids. I like
basketball cards. I'm a collector, I can't help it 
.
Gotta use the hand, carding sucks eggs, so slow. I like to put on one of the
disposable latex gloves and go to work, done in a couple bowls.

Hey High Lowlander, and all! Been kinda taking a break from posting for a few weeks.
Spent about $1500 on the garden and been busy with upgrades. Switched out all my
hoods for cool tubes. Replaced all my lights. I do that every August. Switched out two
of my "core & coil" for 1000w digitals. Picked up a line of Harvest Moon Organic ferts
from a friend who runs a hydro store to do a comparison grow against PBP. Yanking my
dwc buckets out of the veg room because I do everything soil until they go into flower
nowdays. Pretty much revamping the veg room to make it automated for times when
I need to be gone. Also fabricating a 2' D x 4' W x 4' H male isolation chamber for my
eight guys. But... I was looking at that sack as I was cleaning, thinking it would be nice
to get it out of the way... but right now I gotta get 4 plants from 1 gal to 5 gal pots
and into flower and unknown # from cups to 1 gal pots, then I gotta get the last plant
trimmed from a set of 4 dwc plants. Then my kids get here for 3.5 days and they're not
privy to the garden, then as soon as they're gone I gotta start on 4 more dwc plants
that are screaming "I'm finished, stick a fork in me"! After that I have a Orange Diesel
that will be ready but I think I can get to the sack after that so were looking at prob
looking at the end of next week.

whats up NS...to answer ur question(s)...NO, I didnt get any plant matter in my kif, and I dont know the size of the screen, its the one on my grinder used for kifing the ground up herb, works great!!!!!I just do alittle at a time...Peace bro
