Another Bubba

Nice looking Bubba Funny thing about the Bubba is you get these thick-ass stalks, gigantic leaves, great branching, and then - little golf-ball sized nugs. That being said, it's still the best I've ever smoked (taste and high).

In my experience, the plant will look ready to pull around week 7+, but it you let her go 9-10 with a good flush and cure, you'll really be able to tell why all the CaliKush heads go nuts for her.

just tossed a bubba into flower, originates from katsu...hey bro

anyway, mine seems to have a thinner sativa leaf to it, compared to yours. was told Katsu;s was a purple bubba, then told its a green bubba, haha, either way it gets purple tints in the leaf and bud.

mine actually has some stretch to her when flowered. grows normal, like most cuts i have, shes not a real slow vegger. ill snap some shots to compare, as i just put one in flower a few days ago.

grow OP has a bunch to do with the phenotype, have heard a few times Bubba is one of those cuts that looks different between OPs.

Hello everone. I'd like to thank those who stopped by and offered comments during the construction phase, lol, and apologise(sp) for the long stretch without the pics. Just got the plants moved into their new home this afternoon and wanted to take a few quick shots of them for you to see. There has been alot of bud growth since the last pics so I hope you enjoy. There will also be a 2 week absence as I'm going home for the holidays on Tuesday. Just wanted to put em up so you wouldn't think I'd forgotten you. hehehe

T2U she did veg for alot closer to 4 months. It was VERY slow but so far appears to be worth every minute of the wait. Thanks for stopping by.

Well I'm back. Sorry it has taken so long to update but I've been visiting family for the past 2 weeks and had a great time.
Santa, along with the wife's permission, had me a new ballast waiting for me when I got home. It's a brand new Lumatek 1000w digital. So I'm pretty jazzad about it. Threw in a couple of pics of it .
Got some new pics today of the Bubba and the Trainwreck. The TW will be chopped on the 1-2-07. Great way to start the year!!!
First 4 are the Bubba, next 4 are the TW, and the last 2 are the Lumatek. Enjoy!!

I think on the next grow the lineup is gonna be a Purple Kush, a KK Strawberry Cough, and either a Sweet Dirty Widow or a Purple Urkle. Going back to hydro too. This soil time is killing my production times, lol.

Just read the entire thread.....Great show resinryder This is your first run with TW???? Very impressive...everytime I ran TW the first few times I almost killed her...burned her...lol...your wreck is looking good....so is the bubba....

Not sure if I could do an Urkle right after a long bubba veg lol...Urkle and PK are both SLOW....anyways...Happy New Year bro.....excellent work

Thanks for stopping in to check out the thread and the kind words -VT-. Yes indeed this is the first time I've grown the Trainwreck and the Bubba. Only problem I had was the cal-mag def a little while back.
Been kinda wondering about the Urkle and PK grow and I've got a couple others to choose from so I might just do them as a side project later on.

Hahah duude you really had to support those Wreck girls huh ?All those stakes look like some kinda mid evil torture device. Mine are at 21 days and i just did a couple stakes but i think i need more already ! I was thinking of using those cylindrical metal hoop things they make for tomatoes . Yours look really good man , respect!

chainmai-Mid evil torture device, lmao. I have some of the metal tomato cages but scraped the idea of using them awhile back. With leggly sativas I've found it best to tie them over and open them up to as much light as possible for the lover branches. The cages I use for the tomatoes always bunch up the branches and the leaves really block out the light. I think I paid under 5.00 for the bamboo stakes. I drill holes through the 5 or 7 gallon pots rims for 4 of main support stakes and then secure with duct tape. Everything else is positioned and held in place with 2 zip ties to hold the supports in place. Looks kinda funny but works like a charm. I was gonna use a system of of strings to hold them up but this allows me to move them around without any damage. Thanks for the comments and for stopping by.

Gonna cut her tomorrow. Had planned to cut her on the 2nd but with the never ending move and pain issues it had to be pushed back a couple of days. So no word on the yield.
This TW was bloomed under a 1000w hydrofarm. Just changed to the 1k digital by Lumatek.
