To be honest, I haven't given them anything but water in about 6 weeks. Before that a couple of foliar feedings with Kelp and Aloe Extract. Sprayed Neem enough to ward off pests. Mostly its all about having good soil and a plethora of microbial life.

I also found this interesting. I was looking through my pictures looking for a plant that I had photos of from around a month apart from each other. I found some fairly close of the Church. This is now one of the smallest plants in the garden but it went out first on may 14. These pics are roughly from day 20, 50, and 80 from when the clone went in the hole.

Looks pretty amazing man, lots of good DNA and lots of healthy plants! I just did a 60 days of growth shot on my chem sour from 12" to 8 feet in slightly over 60 days. You could literally watch that little girl grow each day this summer.

Hey I hope you made it through the devastation of those late September storms with out too much losses.

Your garden was looking great!

This year's lesson to me was even if I think I have enough support on them with T Posts, netting, stakes and caging, support them some more!

All is well is the land of milk and honey(oil).

All is well is the land of milk and honey(oil).

Hello everyone, I kind of took an icmag hiatus once workers started arriving and as the work load progressed. Trimmers are gone. Almost all of the trimming is done, just shy of the 100# mark, if we would have kept the ones smaller than a quarter or so like last year we would have had another 30-50, but we are happy. we are slowly processing all that stuff into various forms of concentrates. I have been playing around a lot with solvent-less extracts to get something worthwhile to enter into the cup. I am happy with what I am learning but who knows if what I enter will be worthy of competition.

Backyard farmer We managed to fair the storms as well as we could but I agree that we need way more structural support. We lost a few of our largest plants and some big branches. We lost all together what would have finished to be prob 15-20#. Its shitty. Such is life. Always learning.

Now for some picture updates.

This is apparently the last picture I have on my computer of the garden, I know there are more elsewhere. This is from august 24th though so a long ass time ago.

So I had intended on taking pics of a lot more of the buds for you but I have also been doing dabs and smoking full melt dry sift so i don't care to anymore. Instead I'm going to go tend to the Sour D's that are in their 2nd week of flower and smoke more concentrates.

Regret all the BOG gear, the BMR is pretty and some folks really like it, but i'm not a fan of the smell of taste. the bogglegum, sour bubble and lifesaver were even worse. The bogglegum plants all had fantastic structure and growth, just no smell or taste even after a month curing. The lifesaver was better but still didnt tickle my fancy.

Southern humboldt seeds collective came through big with their sour pineapple. Super great smoke averaged 5 lbs per plants. Definitely bringing this one back. Their Sour Tsunami on the other hand is shit. I have one probably 2 pound sour tusnami plant that i have only chopped a few top colas to see how they would be after deciding that the plant is shit. That whole plant will rot and become compost, not even chopping it down for hash or BHO. By far, by far the worst cultivar ive seen in the past few years.

Gage Green Genetics, I am way happy with. I grew their Daybreaker and their Pepe Le Dank. The Daybreaker is tied with the Blackberry Kush for my favorite smoke out of lot. The Pepe Le Dank has a funky sweet smell that not everyone likes cept for one phono smells like pine sap but the stone is killer.

Blue dream killed blue widow outdoors. The smoke isnt bad just half the yield. And this years blue dream is some of the best blue dream I have seen, makes me wish i had more than one plant of it. Banana Kush sucked.

Ultimately my fav's are the BBK, Daybreaker and Sour Pineapple. All will get ran again. As for new stuff. not sure. I will be poking around on here to find what victories others had. I have tons of beans to pop and go through and will prob get more at the emerald cup if anything tickles my fancy.

Right on. When did the blue dream come in for you?

My friend tried the Blue Dream here a few years ago and they went late and he pulled 3 lbs off plants that should have been 10 lbs...

nice finish…your the 2nd person I've heard that was disappointed in BOG gear, mendo420 being the first. i was also very disappointed in the boggle and LSD i popped, i ran them indoors but i could still tell they were very subpar plants were terrible non existent terpene profiles. i ran sour bubble last year and had good results, and ran sour strawberry this year and also had good results…so its clear that some of his other strains just aren't cutting it.

interesting about SHC, I'm also on the search for new shit for 2014. keeping a few staples around but got seeds to crack! seed vigor just beats the hell out of clones...
