I just got back froma trip to multiple garden centers on the search for spinosad... all I found was a bottle meant to be hooked up to a hose and sprayed...
But some guy at the hydro store somehow talked me into getting a lil bag with a wet blue sponge in it that supposedly has 1 million live predatory nematodes in it...for $27...kinda pissed me off cause that was all my cash I had at the moment, and was unable to get lunch
But yea I will be applying them to my veg section later on today..

Today is the harvest of the 3 plants under the 150w. 2 boomsticks and a skunk #5.
1 of the boomstick plants totally dominated the grow, and I still havent made it to her yet..
So heres some pics of The boomstick (smaller one):
And heres a budshot of Skunk #5....She really has a STRONG orange/skunk/fruit punch scent. REALLY looking forward to a taste test on her:
I might get some more up... I know everyone loves the budporn...
The final plant has quite the cola as well- It grew all the way up and was hugging my cooltube...it should give my 37 gram-er a run for its money...probably wont beat it..but still VERY impressive with a 150w light...I'll try and make sure I get some shots of it

Very nicely done Anima, not been in many grow threads recently, I've been dry for the last 5 weeks, trying not to punish myself with weed pics, just doing the rounds this morning. I knew cool tubes cooled things down a bit, but never thought they'd be cool enough for a hug from a nug.

GMT-Heya man!! well thanks for stoping by...I know the feeling exactly. This is the first time ever that I have had a harvest and there is still a nug (barely) left in the jar.
And yeah the cooltube works great! I think the reason the nugs didn't burn up is due to the fact that it was only 150w after all, and the fan pullin through that cooltube is 450cfm.

Just got done washing my balls and reloading my 4 bucket setup with some fresh new clones:
2x Casey Jones
1x Pre 98 Bubba Kush
1x Grand daddy Purple
I even got little labels for em so they feel special
I hope I can get them all to play nice together.
5....4...3...IGNITION...2....1.....BLASTOFF!!! Of the S.S. Micro Ebb and flow. On it's 3rd mission to grow as much great pot as possible, while retaining it's energy star compliance of only 150w HPS, and 23w of 6500k CFL.

we had some shriveling going on the newbies....
It seems that they couldn't live without their domes and started shriveling up.....
I sprayed em with some water and put their domes back on
Also I turned off the 150 and we are running on CFL power
They have perked up again already...
gotta stay on your toes...
No big deal though...This has happened to me before. You gotta wean em off of the dome.

I'd love to try growing with balls like your's some day Anima, I wouldn't even mind washing them when they got sweaty, erm, dirty, lol. I just can't be arsed with the chemistry lessons I'd have to take first. All that mixing of nutes and ph levels and ppms, my head would be too done it.

Although I do know a bit about chemistry and such growing in hydro is just as easy as dirt... For me it is actually easier than the dirt...less to screw up...
It's like baking a cake...you don't gotta know why everything works the way it does...why the bread rises...why the water turns to steam...how the baking powder reacts with the salt...whatever..
Just follow directions and you will be fine...you already know about the PPM's and the pH level measuring...the only thing you need now is a good ball washing technique.
Don't let new things intimidate ya... it's like fretting learning multiplication in grade school because it was this big new fangled thing...Then only come to find out that it's just addition over and over.
...ok i'm not doing well on the motivational similes today..

MGJ- Yes sir- new growth on the plants in the veg chamber nice and green with little to no signs of thrips... I'm starting to feel better about my predatory nematode purchase now
My boomsticks are just over 2.5 ft tall...the skunk is pushing at least the 3' mark...Quite the lady- I'll get some pics of her up tomorrow or so because she is sleeping
I'm looking forward to this diverse run in the 4 bucket setup as well!! It should put on a good show this time granted I take good care of them
