Hey Mopple, the CC cup you can only enter as a coffee shop or a seedcompany. i don't know the entry conditions.
the 420 ic mag growers and breeders cup is for anybody who has grown some cannabis to enter as long as he has 1 onze to put forward as an entry. but last time there was no official 420 cup so we just all met up and had a smoke out with our strains and bubble hash.
got my flight organized just now. so this amsterdam trip has become reality, lol. just wondering where to stay now?

i stay at the NH amsterdam centre hotel in the leidesplein... its awesome. very good service, wonderful hotel, it is in a nice area , and not to far from the red light district or dam square... if you have a some cash , i would highly recomend this place.. i love it

I have witnessed some 10 HTCCups in my life, far too much, seen too much, always left with a bad taste.
I gave up on it last year, when I did not go, eventhough I was in Holland at the time.
Better spend your money on bud in coffeeshops that don't compete.

BUT how fair IS the HTCC when it wont even include Nols shops in Haarlem because they dont trust american stoners to get to Haarlem and back... And in a way its true because Katsu or Kashmir Lounge or even Branden Zend gets less judges because they are not centrally located!
At least the 2 years I did the 420 cup we took a trip to Nols and ANYONE heading to A'dam for the 1st time for the cup BE SURE to leave time to go to Haarlem and visit Nol!
So again... I dont want to disparage ANYONE.... EVERYONE is welcome to go and even to buy a judges pass.... I was just stating my experience with the cup and thats not even talking about How to win a cup by having the best parties, by the best giveways, or about how it was documented that the Green House manipulated a cup (AKA Stole), or how racism prevented the winner of the blind cup in 2001 (Hash Cup) from even KNOWING they won until the literature for paying for the next cup came out! (The Dolphins)
So.... I have my problems with the ORGANIZERS although I publcly hoped for the best when Steve took the helm again and 420Tours was kicked to the door! I have NOTHING but love for the people who attend!
I hope I furthur explained myself BUT from reading it.... probably not!

There were 2 different versions, If I remember correctly, one of them ended with its time for the Dutch to take control of the Cannabis Cup! Now, in hind sight, considering (like I said above) the Steve, ignoring the Dutch partners advice about keeping all the samples in 1 place and Steve getting busted (See I got busted at the Peace Cup) and all the hash was confiscated... Considering that even after 420Tours left things REALLY havent gotten any better.... MAYBE its time to reconsider that thought!!

I unuderstand all the negative vibes as good as anyone after
my one n only participation in the cup ... the year the greenhouse got belatedly banned after proof they fiddled it but thats not why i go its to meet the guys n some new ones who knows but theres so few ganga gettogethers i think why not lol
anyhow nol we can go to harlem easy enough youre place is as good as it gets

Nol i agree 100%. The 2003 HTCC ended my november trips to Amsterdam. IT all fell to pieces that year.
