Amsterdam closes 2 "smart shops"

It was the shops fault, its like if an off-lisence in UK sold crack, it would be closed down. If id didn't it wouldn't be closed down. These people know what they are allowed to sell and have in their shop and should be especially carefull not to violate this. I feel a bit pissed off that they they as it brings unwanted attention to other shops

not quite the same as selling crack
I prefer my mushrooms dried if possible thats what I meant by freedom of choice
and theres practically no difference in raw or dried as far as effect goes
so why allow only fresh mushrooms that can go off and cause bad effect and make you ill

I don't know why they wont sell dried one's, but I also know selling crack is different but i was trying to get the point across that if you are involved with some shops that are in the police's radar then you have to be extra carefull not not let anything in there that shouldn't be in there. If you do then it's your own fault. If you abide by the law you have nothing to worry about. They could have even kept them at home or anywhere else outside the shop

Forgive my ignorance of mushrooms, I've only had the fresh ones once in ADam. Is it possible to dry out fresh mushrooms yourself?

yes you can dry them yourself but it takes time (days) to do it properly

I am crushed. Think the thinking goes that mushrooms organic of course as nature intended are OK under some produce law. Once you've done anything to it....make tea, dried them, put them in chocolate bars, you have now manufactured an illegal substance. Algo es algo!
