Day 21 update - Butterscotch x Sunshine Daydream

These probably aren't yielders, but they are stinky!

Bssdd 1 - very stinky, like a skunk with a floral undertone. Classic pot smell. Might run this pheno again


Bssdd 2 - sweet flowery smell, really small buds though. Not likely that I'll run this pheno again.


Bssdd 3 - similar structure to #1, slightly smaller buds, but with an inverted scent ..... sweet / floral with a light skunk undertone. Might consider running this pheno again


Bssdd 4 - the fasciated lady. Not much smell, really low yield, not the most resinous. Will not be running this pheno again.

And now for the better half

Day 21 of 12/12 update - Silver Lotus

SL 1 - looks to be a yielder! Smells citrusy-sweet, like lemon cake, nice resin development. No complaints


SL 2 - excellent bud development, may be massive yields of Bud. Smells like lemon scented pinesol. Might be the frontrunner at this point


SL3 - again a great plant so far. Similar smells to sl1 but with a slight sour end to it, maybe like a lemonhead. Very sticky


Sl4 - ooooweeee. Fattest buds, 2nd best Stacking, loads of resin already, and incredibly sweet terps, like sugar cookie sweet. Tied for the lead



So yeah, BSSDD only has 1 or 2 plants worth considering, Silver Lotus is 4/4 so far.

The critical mass are on Day 7 in 12/12 and just starting to show floral development. No pictures of them tonight

Couple of Bud shots tonight, day 28 of 12/12

The standout (so far) from BSSDD - #1. Evolving into a spicy herbal / garlic smell at the moment. FAT buds for day 28. Super sticky


Silver lotus, also doing great

Today we'll look at #3 and #4

#3 looks incredibly similar to #2, so one pic suffices for both. Not super fat buds, but the colas are Stacking very nicely. Going to yield well. Smells like lemon/orange candy, both of them.


#4 and #1 have a lot in common, but #4 has substantially larger buds (albeit with the same structure and spacing). Similar smells to the others

The critical mass are starting to bud up nicely, should accelerate this week. 14 days in 12/12

I've cleaned up the lower growth and branches that didn't make it near the canopy

Also, a couple more seed packs got thrown down this week.

The first.... since I was unlucky with the Mango Haze germination, I doubled down with a pack of Mango Haze Inbred Line from Shantibaba. Seeds were very small, but hopefully it comes through, supposedly more long flowering types than the typical Mango haze offering


And.... my oldest pack of seeds, one that I've always wanted to run but never did. I've had this pack for 17 years, so the beans are probably 20 years old nearly. I present to you.... Afropips Malawi99. The f1 marriage of Malawi Gold and Cinderella 99. Not sure what to expect from germination, as they're so old, but better late than never right?!
