Americans: did you move to a med state?

lived in Nevada, it was tight.

moved to Washington, was more liberal but still had to phone around and meet-up with complete strangers to score...disappointing excuse for protection...after the fact...if they let you use it as a defense at all if arrested.

last time i purchased smoke was 3 1/2 years ago, swore i'd never wait on another lame drug dealer again.

good luck in your move. hope things exceed your expectations.

i did a long time ago. i moved from the ne to cali. i love it but i miss some things. snow and the possibility of getting arrested for weed is 2 things i dont miss

I rather enjoy living in one of the top 5 archaic states in the country(maybe top 3), does wonders for the bottom line when you have a huge set of nuts and a tight game.

The diamonds are beneath your feet, I say do your thing where you're comfortable and work to change legislation if that's your angle. There's risk everywhere on US soil.

I did...2 years later left CA. NOT WORTH ALL THE TRADE OFFS IMO. I would just assume be right back where I am growing my ass off and smoking my ass off. I had more issues with local state and federal law enforcement in CA. Never ever even had a scare back in the Midwest.

Couldn't agree more. I've been working with a few organizations for the past 3 years to get my home state to become medical. We've been so close so many times.

I still bank and am fairly safe, so I have no incentive to move.

Still thinking about it. In the northeast, cold sucks, my state has a bogus MMJ program on the books, though.

I wish Florida would go medical, I'd move there tomorrow, beautiful weather, girls, and its inexpensive to live.

I moved from the atlanta, ga to denver,co, the freedom to grow without breaking the law is alien to me still, but im adjusting daily! its ashame that we southern folk are once again missing an economical turbo boost that would bring the south into moderndom we only have to thank our state governments, who are facing the same parodox the nazis faced when the soviets over took stalingard, Atlanta would be the east coast, oakland, ca. x1000 ...its all ashame

I really want to badly, but after building up local connections here, its hard to comprehend starting all over from scratch somewhere else. When I really think about it though, the reduced risk involved is greatly diminished if I move. When you compare years in jail and the legal shinanigandry leading up to that day to, starting over somewhere with mmj, the answer is obvious.

The only problem I would have after moving to a medical state is keeping within in the legal plant counts. If I move, it will be for at least a 12 to 16 light grow show. If I'm going to do it, I'm going all out, no F'in around.

I grew for 10 years on the East Coast before I moved to California. I love it out here, and I don't regret making the move. I'm not a commercial grower, so I'm not worried about the wholesale prices out here. I moved out here for a job in addition to the mmj laws. This is the best place in the world for technology jobs.

The only downside is the cost of living out here. Houses cost 4 or 5 times as much here as they do in my hometown. The jobs out here pay a lot more, so that always helps.
