US based Commercial Cannabis is pure poison. They use pesticides, herbicides, PGR’s.. literally nothing is off the table.
If it comes from California throw it away.

Dont smoke any Californian sold in the coffeeshop. Most are broadleaved based and i'm more for the narrowleaved varieties, although Lemon Thai is broadleaved too, but the high is great.

Some guy wants all of us to stop growing our own and buy his friend’s bunk schwag.
He thinks if we grow our own it will be somehow worse than the pesticides and growth enhancers he wants us to consume.
Kinda odd, coming to a website dedicated to telling the commercial weed industry to “fuck right off.”

i was simply pointing out here in california we have legalized marijuana
you can legally buy weed or grow your own if you want

The US allowed other people to move-in and take away their cannabis. It was hilarious to watch “Reefer Madness” and then research everyone that had their Devil’s Hand in it.
Imagine, if more people understood the world in which they reside.

PS California weed is the New Mexican Dirt Weed.
Back before the war on pot, the pharma companies had already secured powerful genetics from India and other places. After finding it cost too much to ship it they brought back seeds and started breeding plants large scale so they could make more profit and use domestic stock. A good % of ALL medicine was Cannabis based in the 19th century.The original breeder/dealers in the west were parke davis,bristol meyers, upjohn, eli lilly etc. Some of the genetics must surely come from that era,diluted and messed up but still they must have of had a lasting impact,prohibition or not. A couple of them worked together to make Cannabis Americana which was bred to rival imported cannabis,again for profit.

My people have used cannabis since the beginning of time. Literally. The curative properties is what attracts us to the plant, the snake oil dealers would put cannabis in their tinctures because they knew it would strike our minds as “good”. Then the rest of the ingredients were basically poison.
Kinda reminds me of the California Weed Industry, eh?

lets not forget the hippy trail that introduced a lot of new weed (indica) to a lot of people and then the surfers bringing back the best exotics they could find

even the best mexican weed brought a lot to the table and i still have my oaxacan friends who i will gladly share a tamale with anyday

if you are going to put the time and effort into growing, why grow anything less than the best?
a friend sent me some seeds from the east coast that he said he got on the Rez out there….Tuscarora is what he called them and said it was a favorite of smokers on the Rez
I guess I will eventually get around to growing them out
Some of the Mexican was killer when i was a youngster, bricked or not . There was no domestic weed in my area till the 80's
Some of the Native weed is good but not consistent in my area.I grabbed smokes today at my local rez and it reeked strongly of skunk. I don't know if the strain they were smoking does during growth but it's really skunky in the air. If I was looking to make a skunky strain that would be my first stop.
here in san diego we used to get the best mex
i had a friend who i used to mountain bike with he came from canada so he would bring back a stash when he would go back to the great white north
