i got busted with over 700 plants, no federal time.....

feel free to read my fucking busted hardcore in my signature....

its NOT the amount of plants you have, its WHO busts you that you have to worry about.....

in the bay area, your not going to be prosecuted federally. a more conservative county or area, you may be charged federally....

While I agree that most people in bay area are better off then others, that is some dangerous advice to be throwing around freely, especially if someone reads it in a non med state and decides to jump on the band wagon and grow hundreds of plants.

I personally would rather keep 99 and not deal with the risk, or in your case, the months and months of expensive legal back and forth in court. If you had 99 they very well might of not even pressed charges.

Not hating, your the man, just think you gotta be careful about throwing advice like that around. People DO get busted both by federal and by state up in the bay area, contrary to popular belief.

well, another concern you may want to have is that you just posted that you are over 99 on an international website....

Not really.

To you guys growing big with a lot of patient scripts...are you incorperated as a non profit orother paper work stating that you grow for a collective?

lol no. I was, but I was the exception. It cost $2500, 70 days, and a fuck ton of paperwork followed by tracking sales to the clinics. 99% of the big growers just throw scripts up on the wall.

going over 99 basically means you are rolling the dice..you might get lucky and catch state charges like KB and some of my other friends....400 plants got my buddy 1.5 years felony probation and a nice blemish on his record...if that went federal he would be lookin at 5 years and you gota serve 80percent i heard..

the chances of the case going federal is relatively slim but you never know....like i said, GAMBLING.

my only advice is to get as many scripts as possible...collect yourself a nice 20 or 30, start donating free buds to legit sick patients and ask them to testify on your behalf if you ever get raided...keep most of your cash in a seperate spot, and no ak-47 assault rifles in the grow...

also depends what county....if you are in socal in a conservative district i would for sure stay under 99...i sometimes skirt the limit simply because i am in pot growing central theres thousand plant grows right down the block for all i know stealing power and doing some real illegal shit...

It's all about the amount of time tour willing to do. You're not an idiot.you are just a risk taker. Ain't nothing wrong with taking risks as long as you can deal with the consequences. But there is an old saying "No nuts no glory". So I'm sending good karma your way. Keep it sticky

You west coasters have it made and you don't even realize it. Why even press your luck with high numbers when you can just grow bigger plants. Doesn't make sense to me.

Thats the truth bro. I just saw last week a guy got popped with 100 plants on the east side here. Now that is just dumb man.

Peace an be safe peoples:dance013:

a grow around the way just got busted in california...1400 plants among 8 growers....they are facing felony distribution, felony cultivation, and felony conspiracy, with 1 million dollar bail...and they are NOT federal charges they are state..

all is not rosy and peachy in california...most of us who like to think we are "legal" are delirious....all your "cultivators cards" and paperwork can be used against you!! the only thing we have working with in california is the sheer number of growers and crime that running a little 80 plant 5 light grow is hardly enough to get on the radar...

i do recall a recent case where two growers had 70 plants in one house and they were very close to being charged but they got their case dropped because they were under 99, not worth DAs time, and they had medical paperwork and claimed they smoked 1/4 oz a day...

if they had 170 that case is probably going to court...

A lot of great info people

I am actually not over 99 was just doing some math and was considering it....but right now I am getting my power discounted, 20% percent off because I filled out a simple online form saying I was poor, is that a bad idea if I start using around 8KW of power, or is that way below the radar?

Thanks

I sleep pretty well at night and don't do a single thing to draw attention to myself. Act like a normal upstanding citizen, look like a boring dude that has a dull life, and drive a boring car that looks like everything else in a Target parking lot. Invest wisely, prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
Be aware of your surroundings.
Blend in.

Remember, time and space are your friends against 'The Man'. Use them. Then thin the herd whenever/wherever economical/possible.
Funny how they want to say you can only have X amount of plants (>99, or >36) in my state, yet all these MMCs can have literally thousands.
:blowbubbles:

P.S. Spiritual experiences always help me with personal reflection. Nothing like being a bear in the woods every now and again.

Nobody can tell you whether or not it is worth it or not, you have to make that choice.
For most of us, including myself, I would say that it is not worth it. You may or may not fall into that category.

Either way, stay safe.

The feds can hit you for 1 plant or 1 million. Its all about where youre trying to take it really though... I used to have no regard, now my standard setup has 80 bigger plants, 4 per light. in my county 30 per script so 3 covers me to 90. if you do go over, stay under 999 though cause if you do ever get convicted federally its 10yr mms instead of the 5 for under 1000.

I've seen feds get involved with grows that were under 99 and the people did time. Also knew of someone had enough outdoor plants in the later 90's they needed 2 dumptrucks to haul everything away and never served a day. It was kept at a county level and never got kicked up to the fed level. He was growing for some co-ops.

if someone were to want to do some serious breeding i could easily see the 99 number being breached...

i wonder how it would go to get caught with 500 or so tiny little beercup bonsai's strictly for breeding experimental purposes? different little sections with males and hepa filters and totally pregnant mamma's, how would that go in court i wonder?
