Hey Mole,
I'm really enjoying this thread..I hope to develop a nice outdoor strain too.Someday.
I only have one nebula. She is indica looking so far. She's gotten a little lime colored.I'm going to foliar feed her next trip. I recently got some early girl x dankassbitch from 2001.I'm hoping the dab has passed some potency and flavor to the eg. I have an early queenfrom Mr nice that doing real well...and stinky.

Thanks for stopping by, and good luck with your plants ..

Ill post here from time to time, when I have something new going on..sometimes Ive been known to ramble on abit...

budluver
When I started my Nebula's from a pak of seeds, they seemed unstable, I forget now ,but I think most germed.I thought Ihad alot of females, but I ened up with hermis ,with only two females that could be kept for flowering.

I grew them to about 1 foot totol (indoors)they stretched very little, one pheno had decent buds and had a slightly better buzz, but I kept the other female, the frosty one ,that stinks to high heaven.

Its not always the best formed buds and buzz am looking for....I may be crossong the nebula with Petrolia Headstash , it also reaks, has a short flower time, and is suppossed to be a great buzz.Ive had small samples from a poorly grown indoor plant, and it was a good buzz.

Ill see what I get from that cross befor deciding what tweaking it needs...

Budless
I only remove dead and fallen trees or branches, but am lucky to have some fairly safe "full sun" areas. The standing dead trees are important to alot of wild life for food and shelter.

If you learn how to prune a tree , that could actually improve it, and clear up some sunny locations, but your pruning will probly cause the tree to fill in again ,and a new spot would be needed.

Remember when planting where the sun will be in the fall during late flowering, youll have better buds in the end, but your plants may be smaller from the shady veg time.

Here is the frosty Nebula on the left..and a seedplant of a cross between NebulaX GF x NL

Ive seen a few folks with the new cross growing outdoors, and its doing very well, I will probly back cross this new strain with the nebula tell I can get a stable ,mostly nebula looking male.

Hey Mole....really appreciate the detail. I had problems germing my nebula as well.I bought a 5 pk of the female version when they first came out.I tried four last yr and got zilch?? I sprouted the last one this spring and she took.I had her in a 24 pk cell for at least her first month.Too long. She responded great though after her transplant and was my leading lady out of 100+ seedlings for a while!! She's been in the ground now for a good month.
She gets 10+ hrs of sun a day and will until she's finished. I've GOT to find a way to get water to her more than twice a week cuz she'd be twice the size.
I am visiting her tomorow afternoon and will take some pics.I'm hoping you'll give me your two cents.
I have a pk of Gypsy's Kiss. I believe its white widow x petolia headstash.Would those finish for us?? I'm at 42N east coast..thx Mole..I aspire to have a couple big monster like your Concussion someday...peace BL

am around 41 LAT, with the P-HeadStash being a fast flowering strain,I would think youll be fine with the Gypsy's Kiss..all depends on the phenos you get...I always try to save a clone from each plant I get from a batch of seeds.

There can be a big differance in their bud size ,and potency, you may grow 12 beans from one pak,and have just one plant thats a keeper, even if all the plants look similiar in appearance.

well ive done some cloning

I took 2 cutting of these females
ssh x ptk
fruitbowl
uranium cranium
sour bubble
nebula
purple power
B52
chronic amnesia
uranium cranium x boggle
concussion
petrolia head stash
sour chronic

and every cutting lived except for one concussion ...Ill be crossing these females in two differant plots with a male Petrolia head stash. and a bagseed strain, Ive saved for many years....

I have good results with clones, but then you need indoor space to keep them ...and the maintaince of the moms through the year..

Rabbits got to my last cross of beans, I had a willys Haze male, pollenating with several differant female strains, I think Ill have a few good beans from each female, but alot less than I had planned.

They where nearly done, when a rabbit bite off several branches and they rotted on the ground, and one strain, is missing a name tag, so it got tossed out.

I thought my dog was on gaurd duty...but he's slowed down like me in this 90 plus degree heat...

I just took cuts from my orginial female neb, and will cross it back to me male Neb x GF x NL male, am trying to get back a decent neb male, but one that will grow larger for future strains that are frosty like the neb.

earlier in this thread was a pic of a frosty indoor nebula plant, here is and outdoor NEB thats just uner 5 foot

I had crossed the Neb with a grapefruit x northern lights plant, a hardy grower that yeilds quite well..

this pic shows the Nebula x gf x nl plants, they are 8 feet tall, you can see the gf x nl side of the cross by the leaf size and vigous growth, and the NEB side of the cross, by the frosty glands already showing on the buds and leaves

I have plans to recross the neb x gf xnl back to the NEBULA.. and to cross the neb x gf x nl to a few other strains..THEN back to the nebula again.

Hey Mole, My nebula is in full flower and got much more sativa like in flower. She didn't stretch much at all.The buds are very frosty with some pink purplish pistils.I'm guessing she's got a good couple weeks to go.
I will include some pics of her in flower soon. This is her as a baby.Your crosses seem killer.I've taken up cloning at the suggestion of you and others.I also got a few Opop I should put in the other thread.heres a couple pics

Blue Dragon

Texada Timewarp

Sour diesel

clones fowering with the tomatoes

check your trich colorers good with the neb...she can flower alot longer than paridise seeds time line, I forget what they said, about 60 days I think, yours is looking fine to me, a nice healthy plant !

I try to choose a male from a a pak of beans that produces all uniform females, then watch the males and see if I have one, or all of them that grow , into the same shape and size of the females, I keep the male thats looks as close to the females as I can.
