Alternative to High Times?

After not reading High Times magazine for several years, I went out and bought the last two months at the local bookstore. What disappointment! The articles and uninteresting and poorly written, and a good 50% of the magazine is scam ads for LEGAL BUDS! and 1-900 sex numbers.

Needless to say I was very disappointed. Is there a US alternative to high times?

high times???? what a shit publication..all ads for fake herb....i like canabis culture its pretty good theres also soft secrets but why read a magazine??? everything you need is online at your fingertips!! you can see some of the most beautiful bud shhots right here .... if not you can always go hunting and find a plethora of images else where...screw high times!!!!!!!!!

I bought skunk for the 1st time about a month back, and it was pretty decent also, but i want a mag with cover to cover grow info. Doubt if we ever find that.

I buy high times every month because its the only thing in my area, and I want a good alternative to sitting at a computer every once in a while, and ill pick shunk again if i ever go back to the mall i found it at (about a hour away). Skunk seems to go a lil more into the details then hightimes, hightimes is like a tease they tell you pretty much what you would expect from the title and no more.

Would love to try canabis culture, or heads. Is there any chain book storess that carry them.

I love this site but myself personally I like to sit on the porch or lay on the couch a read a true magazine. ICMag needs to start a publication and start taking subscriptions

jorge cervantes medical growers bible is my fav book. I read it weekly and learn something new every time

Your not being biased at all. I forget awhile ago they sent me 4 free issues of treatinhyourself, and they were good.

just checked out the website for Heads Magazine, there is a bulletin up that says they have stopped publication. That sucks, never read it but after breezing through the site it looked like a decent read.

As stated check out Treating yourself. I stopped reading High Times a decade ago and the one mag i got since then was literally.....and i counted...every other page was ads, so you get half a magazine.

High Times is a shlock...I think Jorge is good but he writes for HT for the money...I understand but the fake ads are so unneeded..they have been around for so long now they don't need the money...it's not like it's a new magazine trying to make it...this is just greed....a pot magazine should be ashamed to put that garbage in there...one second I'm suppose to be taking this seriously next page more bullshit

well i am collector so there is , SKUNK, WEEDWORLD, REDEYE, CANNABIS CULTURE, TREATING YOURSELF, HEADS.

after collecting HIGHTIMES for so long, the only gripe i have about them is that the pics, articles are being recycled, i hope they dont think that just because were stoners we wouldnt see that, or maybe they need to lay off while publishing, who knows, but yeah, HIGHTIMES has gone somewhat down hill, ESPECIALLY after they gave that BOBBY BLACK fella his own column, sheesh whatta mistake!!!
