i wouldn't worry about it coming to your house, it's not like the cops keep track of what's coming to where via the post office. if you've bought it over the net on your cc or debit card and they later have a warrant to see your bank statements and they show up as having bought suspicious things, even then that's only circumstantial evidence as you could've been growing anything... so really i wouldn't worry too much, just don't buy massive quantities of things from a single store because they might flag the cops off, eg 30 x 1000watt hps. that will put up a few red flags...

I used UPS a few weeks ago to send my sis something and the info was on both forms and inputted into the comp.

I rent a box at a private mail delivery business. Not a Ups store, just a private mailbox rental place. I did have to show my ID in order to rent the box. Once you rent the box though you can have mail delivered there to any name you want so I just use a fake name to order stuff and pay for it with a money order. Not foolproof but anyone investigating would need a warrant in order to get the paperwork to see who actually rented the box. They can't just pull my real name off a shipping invoice.
