It's sad that an 'exploration' of man's past is represented in such a fashion on TV. The general topic is very interesting, but HC's presentation of alien astronaut theories and their evidence is sloppy (at best). The outright lies, the omitting of recent archeological evidence that contradicts their theories and the use of unverifiable 'facts' doesn't make it much of a convincing show.
Sure holds entertainment value, though. Always good for a couple of laughs between the face-palm moments.
I keep an open mind. I like this show. My only fault is the pundits tend to severely down play human achievement.
Human Knowledge is often lost.
Take spelling for example.
Since Word Perfect came on the scene. I just stopped caring about proper spelling. I would just do my best, then hit spell check later.
Then there is I think it's called Auto suggest.
On a search engine, I just kinda spell it close, then choose the correct option.
One day most people may not be able to spell without the help of a device.
With modern navigational systems most people can't guide themselves via the stars.
That leads me to believe that there were methods to move and stack objects that weigh several ton without modern movers, cranes, etc.
I met a lady the other day that thinks pineapples grow in a tree.
Milk comes from a carton, etc..

Hunt4genetics - Thing is they are finding civilizations that are old. Scientist are finding these civilizations and dating them back to a time before civilizations "should" be happening. This is the crazy part to me. We are talking 15,000 years old. Before the last ice age.
take a look at youtube "great pyramid pump/pulse generator". two engineers have reconstructed a working model of one aspect of what the great pyramid was really designed for. totally blows out current academic bs we've been spoon fed. also documents that the water tool could easily be used to chisel out and then lift the incredibly accurate monstrously big stone blocks into place. the great pyramid was kind of an alien dremel tool. no sh*t. they got all the scientific, engineering etc. doc. and most importantly a working model. there are pages of documents associated with their links at this video. final conclusion by them. the eqyptians came along long after these pyramids were built and the egyptians sort of after the fact adapted them to their personal needs. really strong scientific doc. available here from accredited experts.

Sounds like we missed a prety cool show. We got no tv service rite now but this is just what I been seein. I meen just by readin the Bible and some other books and lookin round at the world round us I see that all the religions except for the ones that worship Mighty Jehova we'r made by the devils that Mighty Jehova threw down here after they sinned against Him. I think He's commin back in a fyew months. I think we'l be seein the book of Revelations start unfoldin rite round may 2011. Apocolips and all that. New Heaven on earth and all. Really cool stuff!

Hmmm...I can think of "people" who I feel this way about...you can find them on National Geographic too... One definition of a species is whether they find each other sexually attractive...so YOU decide.
ALL these "science" shows are the same...full of fucking shit! I argued it extensively in another thread...but people wouldn't listen.
The sheeple...so sad...they believe EVERYTHING...but the truth.
but hey...what DO you expect? Most people also believe there is a guy living in space that knows everything they do and will judge them and either send them to heaven or hell when they die...so go figure...
