All my plants are flowering

Shit is weird and pissing me off. Pretty much my entire veg closet is in week 4 or 5 of flower

I’ve been working ot lately and haven’t had much time to do much of anything to any of my plants and my entire veg closet is in flower different strains and I don’t understand why. They were on 14/10 schedule. Something I’ve done in the past without giving it a second though

I leave closet door ajar for the most part I’m thinking the hps 10-15 feet away is so strong that it is flowering everything period? But that really doesn’t make sense because they plants are under two bright leds and I’m just baffled. But at the same time I’m not feeding/watering them properly at all. About to throw away everything pretty much they are different sizes and it’s really just pissing me off about to throw all the big ones under flower and just cut and destroy everything else and just plant seeds and start over but tbh I have no idea why they are flowering and it’s very discouraging and it’s really pissing me off

The biggest ones are just big and purple stem and poor health and like on week 4 of flower idk where to start or what to do o would love to reveg the whole closet but idek what the problem is

Hi ,

that's just about a lot of strain start flowering at 14/10 or 13/11 ,

like in outdoor , for me that' s just due to the strains ...
and some stress can induce to flower too ,
so in your case it' s a blend of the two i think .

Sure they're not auto-flowering? I grew ACE's Zamaldelica a few months ago and didn't realize it contained ruderalis genetics. Had to leave it alone for a few days and came back to all of the females seeded and pollen everywhere.

Also seems like 14/10 may be too close to 12/12. That's going to vary by genetics. Farthest I've gone is 18/6, but I'm no expert.

14/10 is definitely pushing it for some (maybe most) genetics. I generally run 16/8 in veg and I have a few plants that are marginal even at that daylength.

Another factor, and this is what I'm going to guess is going on with you, is root restriction. Plants that are root bound and/or on restricted water are much more likely to start flowering.

And of course, these two parameters can combine. The day length marginal plants I mentioned are more sensitive to flowering from root restriction.

Sounds like you do not have time to grow. Not watered properly, not fed properly, light leaks, wrong veg cycle time...etc

You answered your own questions by telling us everything that's wrong. Least you know what to fix.

Best of luck

Last indoor grow I ran 13/11 for flowering with no issues, so I think you’re cutting it close. Also as others have said, root restriction/poor nutrition will cause a plant to flip.

I don’t understand why you’re upset though. It’s just a minor setback... let them finish flowering while you get some seeds started?

Because I just lost every strain I kept around for years that’s why. I know they won’t clone they are too poor health and they are all getting cut and destroyed. I definitely think it was because of being rootbound like you all said at I know now. I had a whole lot of things happen in my personal life I just don’t have enough hours anymore

Luckily I created seeds with all of the strains I wanted to keep around some of them are even f3s now at this point. A lot of f2. I am planting a whole slew of seeds tonight I will be focused much more this time around. I also think the heat played a factor too is was just too hot as well. I always thought that plants would hermit if stressed. Never knew they could start flowering.

If you haven’t tossed your old plants yet, you can totally clone/reveg a flowering branch. I have seen people on here reveg a cutting from week 6 of flower. If there is anything that you’re really sick about loosing, it’s always worth trying to save her.
