well, total yield was 2 3/4 lb's with almost a qp of rot, 2 1/2 net......

not bad, i have a sog going of aliendog right now.....

silica and less watering at the end of flowering will get a lot less rot....

my fault really, figured i wouldn't get it, so i stopped using silica days ago and should of cut down on watering.....

Can somebody point me in the direction of a discussion concerning silica and botrytis specifically? For some reason Ive been under the impression silica was only for veg, and have never in many years used it in bloom...hmmm. Funny how that happens.

Brand of silica recommended? ml/gal? Also, how much are you reducing your h20 late in flower - and is it a reduction in volume, frequency, or both? Tks K~

FtWendy: Cant direct ya, but i have been reading up a lil on silica lately. I too was under the impression that it was used during veg. CrazyComposer says his yields went up, taste and potency improved and the herb burns cleaner...all because of silica.

Some of the most beautiful and healthy plants I have seen in veg+flower were on a regime of silica blast. This would be strictly anecdotal however.
