Albert Walker

Very interesting stuff smokes. Can you describe more about the growth of this false cutting? Lets spread some truth! I would love to hear it's nutrient/growth demands.

The cut we had can be a little bit finicky/picky... But i think the 'real AW" is a bit more finicky from what i hear. The cut we had would produce multiple colas even without being topped or trained. She branches out / bushes pretty wild

Ive noticed when super healthy the 'dago walker' puts off double serrated leaves.

That leaf looks pretty wild! When my lights pop on I'll go take some leaf shots of mine to compare. The real albert has a calmag craving like no other, and shows it with a very particular rusting on the leaves if you run her too low.

The real AW cutting has a very skunky/garlic/citrus smell, the citrus is most certainly a tangerine smell, but there is a very distinct skunky undertone that develops into a more garlic pungency. When I pull it at 9 weeks it smells like a skunky creamsicle with a medium presence. Curing it really brings out that garlic smell.

Here is anothe shot of mine, i super cropped her in late flower about 1 week ago to open up the inside. These nugget shots are of a bottom branch, nice 5-6 inch nuggets forming.

Heres another shot of one of the top nuggets folded to the side

It's really frosty but I just couldn't get THAT shot today, will try again soon.

I got that cut from a member here who got it from a med club out in Cali. So.......from what I've read here, I don't have the real deal AW. This cut is not a cal/mag whore, and there's no garlic smell anywhere. Straight up tangerines from beginning to end.

Dang Vash sorry to hear that! Yours does look quiet dank though that is certain! Loving that first picture

Trust me TGH, there's no disappointment here. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the cut I have. I highly doubt the "real" AW would entice me to bin this lady.
Maybe, I'll change the name of this one to "Alberta" Walker.

Alberta Walker is a good one, haha!!! We started calling it "Dago Walker" cause the mislabeled cut started its journey/mislabeledness in san diego. Im pretty sure the cut P.O has is the dagowalker. and the one APE/PNC has was for sure the dagowalker... But ya. definitely zero garlic or skunk in the dagowalker

So this Alberta Walker, she smells like tangerines/oranges? She is very frosty that's for sure, is there a large yield on it? Your pictures remind me of another clone only from the west coast called Orange Blossom (developed large colas but was loose if you pulled it too soon kind of like that pictures of the dried Alberta walker I've seen in this thread)

I'm personally a sucker for orange/citrus smelling strains and now this "alberta walker" has my attention.

Let me preface what I'm about to say with the fact that my sense of smell is not as "specific" as most. I don't pick up anything "orangey" about this lady at all, and she cuts through any, and everything in my garden(Skunks,Chems, etc). I've binned many so-called "elites" in order to keep this lady around. And yes, TonyGreenHand, this girl gives up the bud. Very good yielder IMO, but that's not the reason I've had her for over two years. It's that unique flavor that you get straight off the bush, so imagine what a perfect cure would do.

ya its not so much orange tangerine... but if you mixed grapefruit and tangerine thats what it smells like. And she definitely yields well.
We reversed her and hit her to the Tahoe og. One of the phenos we found smells even more citrucy than the dago/alberta walker

Ima late to the discussion but I can add a couple points regarding the mislabeled cut smoke is talking about..it grows kind of like a candelabra(?) And while she smells wonderful all thru flower, when harvested she takes on a smell more than one person has likened to burning rubber! Ha..flavor actually too strong for some..looong cure turns it to citrus heaven..

Seatown AW grows with similar branching. Candelabra is a pretty good way to describe it. She is a prolific brancher, but she doesn't reach out too far. Staying in her 'space' remaining pretty symmetrical. There may be some connection between these cuts?
