alaskinds 2006 Mendo outdoor

Looking pretty good. I would cut back those trees along the edges to let your girls get some more light. I can't see a real good close up of any of them, but its probably about time to start cutting off some of the lower "sucker" branches so you don't waste too much energy on something that will not produce. Obviously, you want the plant to focus its energy growing big heavy buds as opposed to medium buds and air bud popcorn on the bottom. That OG is going to be a beast. Hope you got some mean ass dogs around to watch out for your garden. Everything looks healthy.

1. How often and what are you feeding?

2. Are you going to tie them out so the center branches get more light?

C.K.- you have a good sense of timing...Ill probably be taking a few cuttings from the "sucker growth" ....
as far as the nutes- using Advance Nutrients "Heavy Harvest" series 2-3 times a month as well as using Dutch Masters foliar nutes .
I dont plan on tying the larger plants any wider as I have some smaller younger clones planted around the outside of the hole...these will be trained to be wide instead of tall...

I was thinking about how easy it would be to tie your trees up to prevent limbs from breaking under the weight if you ran chicken wire on the cieling of a green house or quonset hut and tied the girls up like the kbs guys do.

Might want to think about adding some type of silica supplement to make the tree stronger. Also might want to think about using Messenger.

1. How are you rooting cuts?

2. Ever think about using mushroom compost? Its cheap and it works great. Obviously, that would have to wait until next year. Just food for thought.

Wow, the rolling thunder is amazing...Im planning a greenhouse the next time I start an outdoor show, and Im a big fan of training....
Im going to build a bubble bucket set up for the cuts as I have had my best results cloning in water.....
I like the idea of mushroom compost but I dont like the taste of the herb grown with it ..it seems hard to flush...

Nice grow, reminds me of Tom Hill. Im curious to why some are bigger then others though. Genetics or you just put them out at different size.

I flushed for the final month and it tasted pretty good to me. One of the last things I fed with was the E.B. stone ultra bloom 0-10-10. Slow release with lots of bone meal in it. Seemed to work pretty good for me.

Oh, and the chicken wire is not for training, really. It is for support. The chicken wire just gives you points to tie the plant up from. Any place that you could possibly need to tie up the plant has a point to tie it up from. Broken limbs suck.

Sorry for not posting any sooner, but Ive been a little depressed over the changes that had to be made....well the lesson learned is to be unimportant to your neighbors; There was a large mastiff on this property that barked a lot. This caused tension between our neighbors.....which led to police call for fireworks ......the popos show up and were very interested in the grow that they could see from the road. We were operating under the old law of 25 plants per scrip...now its 100 square feet per script...

ohhh bummer alaskind!!!...damn cops, those plants were looking great, they were alot farther along then ours, we are just a little inland from you, I was surprized to see them budding so much already, that OG was looking good, did you pull that one?..I hope not, sorry for your trouble! are there still plants in the background there?, I cant tell for sure? good luck and dont get discouraged!! :D

Shit happens. Shouldn't have called the pigs about some stupid fire works and you should have shut your dog up. Sounds like it is time to move inside or more off of the beaten path. Lesson hard learned. Sorry pal. You still can make a pretty nice haul.

thanx for your condolences.....were all ok and still free so we wont complain.
Mrs Babba; we still have most of the OG Kush and a lot of the Bubba we have friends that benifited from our mishap in the form of huge starts....
C.K; you are absolutely correct, again.... we should have dealt with the dog earlier...and the neighbor should have been a little cooler headed...
were expecting a good harvest still..though it would have been cool to have a bumper crop.
Ill be posting more pics soon.
