Greetings friends and cannabis fans

I haven't really posted up a lot of grow pics since the whole OG thing went down....but I'm over it now. And besides...it's my duty to help make my favorite site better by posting up the tasty grow pics. Gotta make this the best IC ever! So let's party!


Wanting to rotate some older beans out of the bean stash, I went with Serious Seeds' AK47. I had ordered these a couple years back from Seeds Direct. I popped 5 beans. Ended up with a male and a female that I liked. The dude went on to pollinate other goodies...but that's for another thread.
The female, I decided to grow out to one large lady, as opposed to several smaller ones.
Grown in soil indoors under the 400(plus additional flouros), and topped and LSTd early in veg, she ended up with lots of big sticky tops. She has a VERY strong smell, which definitely carries over to the dry buds. This will be excellent smoke when fully dried and cured.
I managed to actually keep this one nice and green all the way through flowering...little to no nute burn this time
As you can see, the fan leaves are all yellowing nicely after a good 2 week flush to make sure we get a nice clean smoke.

So, without further delay...the AK.

ok, I was having some difficulty with the ol upload, but it's sorted now.
O, this is the first time I've run Serious' AK47. I've done a couple AK hybrids, but this is the first go around for me with the pure AK. As far as I know, Serious hasn't changed their ak at all. This may be a different pheno than you ran before though.

That was a lot of the bigger buds. I'll be chopping the rest in the next few days. Hopefully I'll have a few more up soon. I can't wait to post up some tasty tasty hash shots from this plant....should be hellifyin!

PS- and FEAR NOT! I WILL be trimming those frost leaves off those buds before drying and curing. I typically like to trim them real close for optimum taste...and besides...it just gives me more hash fixins :wink:

Damn Cook those Ak's are picture perfect. I run the Ak as well ,but mine don't look that nice! Maybe I need to go pheno searchin' again.lol
Good work brother.
BTW how long do let those go for? I'm pull mine usually around 70-80 days.

Neil...so far we've only snuck a little early taste that I picked early to enjoy on the 4th. It was quite flavorful, and OH so potent!! Nice n stoney.

Looking very tasty... I have been wanting beans for a while as well, and when i decided to get some SS was offline now I have to wait until august, but now I know its worth the wait!
Oh and just to clarify...Chronic was improved in the year 2000. Simon crossed the original Chronic to AK-47 to increase potency without losing hardly any yield; or something to that effect. This is why you will get mixed reviews on chronic, some say it is crap most likely tried/grew/cloned/smoked a pre-2000 chronic. I have smoked both and have noticed more than a slight difference in some phenos.

I scored these beans some time back. Maybe around '03 or '04 I think. I ordered from Gypsy at the old Seeds Direct site. Split a pack with my buddy, and got pretty lucky so far with my half o pack. I'm glad I finally decided to run these. Now if I can just wait till they're dry and cured. hehe
